This deck is an entry for the Winning Hand Episode 75 deck challenge: https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/53679/phi-slama-gamma-episode-75-1.0

The premise here is to thin your deck by playing supports, upgrades and allies to the board so Gamma Slam can be drawn and played sooner. Better in multiplayer than solo as it may struggle with thwarting.

Part 1 - Deck Thinning
There are 20 supports and upgrades to thin your deck. Ten of those are cost 1 or less and 5 only cost 2. All 5 allies tend to be wallflowers that rarely or only slowly return to your deck.

Part 2 - Card Draw
How can we get through our deck faster? She-Hulk's kit already provides nice tools for this: Split Personality and the 2 Focused Rages. Avengers Mansion will help further if you can play it and Assess the Situation is, uh, situationally useful. Unflappable may not be reliable on its own with 3DEF (using Armored Vest), but Energy Barrier can help it succeed if needed. Once you're up and running, having 6 or 7 card hands in hero form will be common.

Part 3 - Health Management
The other side of planning around Gamma Slam is the tightrope walk of sustaining as much damage as possible without being defeated. There are a lot of options here. Endurance and Honorary Avenger boost your max HP to 19. Med Team and The Night Nurse provide anytime bit-healing, while Down Time and Crew Quarters increase the value of flipping down. Damage mitigation is often key at the end, so there are 3 Energy Barriers.

Part 4 - Be Prepared
After all this set up, do you want to be stunned and exhausted at 1 HP with Gamma Slam in your hand? (Admit it, you've been there.) Don't consider Unshakable and The Night Nurse redundant, but rather, insurance. Indomitable is similarly here for game-end emergencies if you absolutely must defend, but want to use your basic attack in hero phase to help finish off the villain. Try to keep an ally on the board and ready to ping off a Tough status if needed.

Part 5 - Use All Your Cards
Obviously Assess the Situation helps smooth out your turns, but there are other options here as well for some of She-Hulk's, uh, less awesome cards. Ground Stomp and Superhuman Strength can be put to use in Alter-Ego with Superhuman Law Division and can also be used for a steady source of thwart with Warlock or avoiding nasty encounters with Black Widow. You can also dump any left over cards (hey there Legal Practice!) on Machine Man. Recursive allies like Hellcat and Starhawk are also nice options for muck-filled hands.

Awesome deck! I love seeing how you’re managing her health for just the right moments to slam! Health management is a great strategy in green!
