Lots and lots of card draw, leading to big turns with both fully maxed Energy Channel and big ally turn with Lead from the Front & Avengers Assemble!!
-
See other decks/guides at the bottom of this page...
Overview
-
20 to use Captain Marvel's Rechannel heal/draw one card ability every turn, Energy Channel, Vision, and Photonic Blast. Use Enhanced Reflexes for this as well.
-
This deck utilizes mostly Avengers (Spider-Woman is an Avenger) for bonus with Avengers Tower.
-
You'll also find Captain Marvel (along with Black Panther) does well on resources needed for allies/Ally aspect. You'll be able to build your board quickly and set up for massive turns with Lead from the Front & Avengers Assemble!. All the while energizing Energy Channel.
Strategy
-
With this version you'll want to draw as many cards as possible with Strength In Numbers, Photonic Blast, Alpha Flight Station and Captain Marvel's abilities.
-
Try to get your Energy Channels down early, that way when you come to the end of your turn if you have any cards, just dump them into the Energy Channels. You can also get Enhanced Reflexes to do the same.
-
When you drop Spider-Woman be sure to flip to utilize your card draw as to be most efficient with Captain Marvel's better ability and Alpha Flight Station.
-
Early game build your ally board and card engine (Avengers Tower, Alpha Flight Station.
-
Late game it'll be a lot easier to defend, but don't worry about Captain Marvel's Helmet or Cosmic Flight too early in the game.
-
Try to keep your allies on the board with Honorary Avenger and First Aid. You want to try and have 5 allies on the board to take full advantage of Strength In Numbers.
-
End game will be pretty easy and your last turn will probably be insane damage with 20 damage from Energy Channel, multiple Photonic Blast and another 20-30 damage with 5 allies plus Lead from the Front x2 & Avengers Assemble!.
-
I will edit with a more detailed write-up soon...
Other Cards to Consider:
- Another Honorary Avenger
- Another First Aid
- Inspired (if you're playing multiplayer with Spider-Man for Black Cat).
Any feedback is welcome, thanks! Also check out my other decks I've playtested extensively:
- "Tech Nova" (2.0) - Iron Man / Protection
- "Stun Lock" - Captain America / Protection
- "Avengers, Draw & Slam!" (2.0) - She-Hulk / Leadership

Feb 15, 2020I agree, it seems there's two ways to go. Maximizing Avengers or mixing different teams, with the present card pool. Avengers only also works well with She-Hulk, which I just posted a deck on: marvelcdb.com |
I really like that you dropped Maria Hill and Make the Call. I feel that they intentionally designed the new Leadership cards so two of the best Leadership cards from the Core Set don't really work well with it. Great Deck!
