A NOOB'S RANDOM THOUGHTS

  • For 3 ER (Effective Resources) you gain 1 THW and unlimited 1 ATK attacks.
  • Her Forced Response could potentially cover up to two-thirds of her ERC (Effective Resource Cost), which lessens the initial tempo loss from playing a long-term Ally.
  • Ideal for pinging Tough.
  • Inspired on her is excellent long-term value. In fact, any upgrade that interacts with her attack would have tremendous long-term value.
  • She is potentially the best long-term value Ally in the game.
  • A -archetype might be a possibility with her Forced Response, and Peter Parker's Scientist ability.

good review except for the "effective resource" part, which is really overused in this game and does not really mean anything Ina game where cards are paid with cards. Bottom line is, Black Cat costs 2 resources, period :) — oam · 1
"where cards are paid with cards" - that's precisely why people talk about effective resources — Blackhaven · 12

This is soon to be the hand's down best Signature Ally in the game (Written before Ant-Man and Wasp packs released)

Black Cat has a unique (or in the very least rare in the future) trait of no consequential damage when she attacks. This allows her to ping turn after turn without being taken off the table.

But, unlike Support upgrades that also do one damage, Black Cat's ally status allows her to get buffs from Upgrades. Honorary Avenger is needed to play some of these on her, but a Sky Cycle, Inspired, and Power Gloves can turn Black Cat into a board clearing, villain killing, eternally on the table terror!

One ping every turn for 2? Yes please! — batman · 27

At this point I just toss a Sidearm in all of my Spider-Man decks just for her. It's tough to turn down the potential for a recurring 2 damage a turn for the duration of the game, plus a block if you're ever on the verge of losing.
