I heard repurpose was a good card....

Turns out, there's a few good cards in protection, no Strange needed (taunt and the green techs are a must have though.

The basic idea- you hide behind something for as long as possible, only opening yourself to attack when you taunt them, letting the forcefield take the hit while you reap the benefits. With Quincarrier (honestly the version I've been playing with has +1 Helicarrier, but I cut it when I realized I was at 41. Still playable, beating Rhino, Klaw, Ultron, Crossbones, and Absorbing Man on expert so far. YMMV) you are able to Taunt for free.

Your end state: You will be ideally Repurposing two Forcefield Generator on 1 turn. Turn to strike (+1), Repurpose adding +3 to ATK, attack (+4), Repurpose adding +3, attack (+7), Arc Reactor (+7), Ever Vigilant (+7). This is a 26 damage combo and that's not even including the two Powered Gauntlets (+4 total with flight, which is needed for Ever Vigilant). 30 damage combo that's really not too difficult to execute, provided you can manage your Forcefields correctly. This is the most difficult part and will require a lot of coordination on your part.

Ideally, you've drawn to 6 from flipping to Tony Stark, added a card to your hand via alter ability, and then again at the start of your next turn. That means you're working with 8 cards on your bang turn. a couple of cheap Taunt and you have enough resources to combo off.

Mulligan for your hero techs- you want the extra hit points badly. You are going to be taking some damage and want to have enough hit points to stay alive. Your Rocket Boots and Mark V Armor do that nicely and you'll want them. With heroes that don't threaten to scheme out immediately and you can afford to stay 2 turns in Alter- DO THAT!! Seeing enough cards to have a 3 or 4 card Iron Man hand is essential to continuing building your resources. Your minions are there to die. Rarely, you can play for a Starhawk return but I wouldn't count on it. War Machine is mostly a spend for Rocket boots until you come across someone like Ultron and need to have the spread fire to take down drones.

There's another mini game to play as well with your resource spending. You are really limited in your Aerial activations because of the limited genius resources we have so you'll want to be using Pepper Potts a lot for this reason. She is also great when you have doubles to spend. Discard those so they are on top so that you can Pepper for more. That also means not spending that resource on an event, as it will be immediately covered by a resource. There is also a great combo of Resource+Pepper it to get 4 resources for a Nick Fury or War Machine play.

Same with Stark Tower. Any techs you want to keep you can effectively discard for resources as long as you are in Alt. This basically nets you a resource if nothing else. But it's worth mentioning as mid to Late game you can pretty much just use it for Flight activations.

Finally, the above mentioned combo isn't the only way to kill the baddie. You have things like Repulsor Blast and Supersonic Punch. Double punch in and of itself is 16 damage with flight. With the amount of energy resources Repulsor consistently hits 5, provided you have enough cards left in your deck to get the full send. It's usually a combination of repurpose activations plus punches that get you to the end.

Remember that you can use the gauntlets to eat a stun allowing you to full combo off, as well as able to knock tough off.

Don't be afraid of letting the game sit. As long as they don't threat out, you will have difficulty dying.

Moon Girl is a slot for right now, but with the relative lack of genius resources and only able to be played in Alt, she can be cut for something better (maybe that's the helicarrier slot?)

Anyways. No originality claimed here- I've never really looked at Iron Man deck lists this just seems like the first obvious deck. There's a lot to be explored here but as of now this is where I'm at.

I don’t associate Tony with ready decks or aerial cards, but Ever Vigilant in a Repurpose deck was a lot of fun! Thanks for posting it; I had a (repulsor) blast playing it
