T'Challa, King of Wakanda, is feeling generous today. May those who join him in this venture receive the blessings of Wakanda, that they may find victory in the coming battle. Wakanda forever!

I've been playing three-player games lately with two friends, and I got to wondering if there was a way to build a deck whose strategy was to help the other players in order to help myself. The build would require a hero whose kit would gain significant advantage to stripping the deck, and Black Panther is one of the best picks for this idea.

For the rest of the deck, I immediately thought about cards that could be played on other players or that had "Choose a player" in their abilities. Staples like Avengers Mansion and Helicarrier can be used on other player's turns through their asking to use your action. Handing out Down Time and Endurance to everyone might free up a little space for other cards in the other player's decks. Making everyone an Honorary Avenger will at least add another hit point.

But then I started considering cards I could play on other players that would open up other options for their play strategy, and I found Plan B and Ready to Rumble fit this bill. Front Organization is a little situational depending on the scenario, but since my group has been basically playing the scenarios blind we don't really know if or when an encounter card would force us to discard a card we control, so it's a little bit of an insurance policy that could help protect key cards in play. The Night Nurse is another action that any player can request on their turn. Dauntless works pretty well here since the deck hands out up to 4 hit points to everyone and gives them retaliate 1 so long as they stay healthy (and you get retaliate 2!)

As the King of Wakanda hands out his bounty to the people, the deck gets smaller and smaller until it's pretty much all Wakanda Forever!, all the time. With Avengers Mansion and The Golden City, you'll be drawing your entire deck into your hand more or less if everything gets put on the board. By that point I expect the other players will have their own board state under control so it might be that a few Wakanda Forever!'s will get played before then.

Some Quality-of-Life Notes:

It should go without saying, but this is a multiplayer-only deck, and you should communicate what you intend to do to the other players so you can coordinate as a team when deck building.

My collection contains all cards that have been released since the game started so there are a few cards that are out of print. As of this write-up (April 14, 2025), the only cards that folks new to the game will need to proxy are The Night Nurse and Honorary Avenger, since those are in Doctor Strange and Captain America hero decks respectively. Plan B might also give new players some trouble since it's in Sinister Motives. You could switch out of Protection pretty easily (see Alternative Heroes/Aspects below for one example) and swapping out Honorary Avenger and Plan B for whatever cards you want is fine too. It's your collection, you can make it work! :)

Make your life easy when playing this deck with friends. Sleeve the cards in sleeves different from your friend's cards. It will make picking up your cards at the end of the game much faster.

Alternative Heroes/Aspects:

I had also considered using Spider-Man since Peter Parker provides another resource along with adding one Ingenuity to speed play the 1-cost upgrades and set up for Swinging Web Kicks. In which case I recommend switching to Aggression, add one Honed Technique, three Combat Trainings, and three Uppercuts. That gives everyone +1 ATK and you effectively have six Swinging Web Kicks! The deck size ends up at 44 which isn't much of a hinderance since it strips out pretty quick. It's kinda cool but Black Panther's Wakanda Forever! with Vibranium gets a lot more bang for your buck.

This might also work for Hulk since his hero kit is mostly events, and his hand size doesn't become as bad of a drawback since the rest of the cards are more affordable and Bruce Banner allows Ingenuity. Aggression like above would do fine, though I suggest adding Full-Body Charge over Uppercut. Hitting for 12 damage is very much Hulk's style, and if you get lucky with the draw you might be able to follow up with a Hulk Smash. It seems to me like Hulk would be a bit slower to set up since he has so many events. Once he's ready, though, whew!

Each aspect has a stat-boost upgrade of some kind that you can play on other players, and there's usually one or two other support/upgrade cards that combo well with an event or might suggest a second strategy within that aspect that benefits from repeat plays. Just remember that if your deck gets all the way down, you'll be drawing a lot of encounter cards each time you reshuffle. If you'd rather swap out some upgrades to support that second strategy a little more, then do it!

As you are playing Protection, my first choice for supporting others players would be Armored Vest.

Depending on who is on your team, there is also Unflappable or Electrostatic Armor.

And what about Med Team, to keep them healthy? As a support deck, I found also that player side schemes work well.

@sn0wball If the other players can take advantage of those card effects, I say go for it!

I started with protection because that's the least used aspect in my group, but the deck itself can be adjusted to support whatever the other players want to do, even changing out aspect. Just comes down to discussing what everyone's doing during deck building and customizing this deck to help support their strats.
