Star-Lord

Pietro is here! ..and he's gone :( and he's back for a re-cast! :)

This deck is meant to cycle, have some fun with allies, play a ton of hex bolts/molecular decays, and most importantly: use our bro for some speedy action, that sweet extra card draw in alter ego, a nice block, but then bring him right back!

Keeping Quicksilver in Play

Quicksilver offers us quite a bit to make him worth searching for and reincarnating. Scarlet's alter ego becomes much more useful when it draws 3 and we'll flip often to make full use of it. Quicksilver's free ready makes him actually really nice to get an easy 4 splittable damage. It's unfortunately a bit underwhelming outside leadership, but Team Training puts him at the perfect health to be able to use up 4 health in 2 turns and still have 1 to block.

Call for Aid is literally just a "Bring out Quicksilver card" in this deck. Since I went for a gray base, I was able to avoid including avengers. It pretty much becomes a dead card once you get Quicksilver out once, but that's honestly a complete non-issue because of all the cycling the deck does. You can easily get great cards to play every turn.

Rapid Response is also pretty much dedicated to Quicksilver. It's great insurance to have up and often worth playing. Make the Call is there as an option for both Quicksilver but also just an incredibly powerful card with our other allies, especially Nick Fury, Maria Hill, and Ironheart.

Overall Strategy

Get Quicksilver out, build resource cycling/upgrades, flip to alter ego often, start gearing up and cycling for big hex bolts/molecular decays and using your allies.

Upgrades

You have so many amazing upgrades. Play any and all of them. They will help you cycle like crazy both with their abilities and reducing your deck size.

Key Upgrades: Team Training is key to get value out of our allies/Quicksilver. Agatha Harkness is one of the best with how much flipping you can do.

Still early upgrade targets: Since this is a The Power in All of Us deck,Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Quincarrier, The Sorcerer Supreme are that much easier to get out and all great.

Later: You want Scarlet Witch's Crest eventually when you're ready to really start hex bolting but earlier in the game is fine too just to really help things go your way. Same with Deft Focus, it is only used to make hex bolting cheaper but super nice for that. The Triskelion is lower priority, but at a certain point in the game you might be very glad to take it. If you're flipping down a lot, you may not be able to block with all your allies fast enough to get full use from them.

Other Allies

Nick Fury, Ironheart, Maria Hill are all here to help cycle. Don't forget about Lockjaw, he's an incredible backup option/The Power in All of Us target especially with 5 health and one of your better thwarting options. Mockingbird is just good sometimes, Cosmo is lower priority but still a nice power in all of us target.

Card Swap Options

I have toyed around with including Ant-Man as another avenger option for Call for Aid. It just hasn't been needed so far for me. If say someone else in your group wants the Quincarrier, that's probably my recommended add as he's flexible and nice with +1 health.

I could also see swapping Ant-Man and/or Spider-Man in over Cosmo or Mockingbird if you want some extra thwarting for a given scenario.

It might seem nuts, but even a deck focused on keeping Quicksilver in play I didn't find Order and Chaos worth it. Maybe you will. Because we're flipping down often, it's still situational that we'll be in hero form. That combined with the 1 cost turned me off on it.

Final thoughts

That's it! The deck is going to cycle a ton which gives you so much power over what cards you have access to every turn. And I had a lot of fun making sure my bro was along for the ride!
