Wakanda Answers the Call to Battle!

Enemies beware. The Panther is on the prowl...and he has backup.

Hero's Role:

This deck focuses on keeping your Wakanda allies alive. Your role as king is to defend your people. When enemies attack, let them target you to take advantage of Black Panther's retaliate. Your allies will be doing most of the attacking and thwarting. Use Wakanda Forever! and trigger Vibranium Suit last so you can heal the damage sustained from defending.

Allies:

Aneka's special triggers threat removal and is a good candidate for sticking around.

Ayo's special helps ping off toughs and finishing off a minion, but it is not as valuable as Aneka's threat removal. If an ally were to defend for you, it would be this one.

Okoye is important to keep on the field throughout the game since her special will boost other character's stats. Her stat line combined with upgrades will make her a powerful ally.

White Wolf is the man, the myth, the legend. This is such an awesome ally. He will be your main attacker as he takes zero, that's right, ZERO consequential damage. Okoye's special ability combos well with White Wolf.

Events:

First Aid is for healing your Dora Milaje allies or Hero.

Lead from the Front is your endgame card or for dishing out heavy thwarting.

Make the Call helps retrieve allies that were used earlier as resources or recover an ally that was defeated. Shuri recursion will help get some BP upgrades in to play.

Support:

Avengers Mansion is ideal to set up early so you can draw much needed cards faster. Alternatively, you can help other players since BP is already rich in resources.

Command Team is for trigging your Dora Milaje allies' special abilities more often or getting more attacks out of White Wolf.

Dora Milaje is a card to prioritize playing as it keeps your allies alive and triggers their abilities. It costs 0 to play as BP!

Helicarrier is useful in multiplayer. You can sub this out for Quincarrier, Call for Backup, or another Command Team in true solo.

Team Training keeps allies around longer.

The Triskelion extends your ally limit so you can keep all of the Dora Milaje allies and White Wolf in play at once.

Upgrades:

Inspired has two targets. Okoye and White Wolf. Prioritize putting these upgrades on these allies as they have a higher stat line compared to the other allies.

Rapid Response is here in case an ally gets defeated.

Reinforced Suit is best on Okoye, Aneka and Ayo. White Wolf does not take consequential damage for attacking so there is no need for extra health.

Sidearm is meant for White Wolf in case the villain has retaliate.

Final Thoughts:

Black Panther is an underrated hero from the core set. I am hyped that the new Wakanda cards allow him to truly feel like a king leading his people into battle. Now we gotta have "King" support! I also made a Shuri Black Panther deck that was inspired by this deck but uses the Sidekick package.
