"I'm still Worthy."

Hello again, my fellow Champions! I wanted to share this deck that I've been having fun with recently that makes use of Organizational Support to prove that Thor is still worthy.

Thor's Support Team

Organizational Priorities

  1. After numerous games with Thor, I tend to prioritize Asgard over everything else. It's also important to start with a minion generator (Defender of the Nine Realms, Face the Past, or Squared Off + suitable ally). I know For Asgard! gets slept on, but I've used it in several games to grab Asgard if the situation allows it and I can play it immediately.

  2. Quinjets and other board-building cards are vital to setting up your Organizational Support plays and the earlier you get them out, the bigger allies you can deploy in the end game.

  3. Deploy allies as you see fit to maintain tempo on the board. I particularly love Hawkeye in this deck because you have so many ways to find minions. I typically save the bigger ones for later to pay with a fully amped up Organizational Supports or discounted with Squared Off.

After all that, we can see that Thor is still worthy and really enjoys having a well established support system to help him bring the thunder.

If you try this deck out, let me know! I hope you have a blast with it and can enjoy Thor if you haven't been playing him much.

Peace!

Love the quinjet idea to power org support. Super fun card, this looks great!

@corbintm I love Beta Ray Bill! He works great for Squared Off, but I left him out because he wasn't an Avenger and didn't synergize with Quinjet/Earth's Mightiest Heroes/Avenger's Assemble/Avenger's Tower at all. That said, he's a great target for Organizational Support and he is solid fit for this deck because you can draw out minions to slay and boost threat mitigation. On Discord I had mentioned adding a few more allies for multiplayer or specific scenarios, and I think Bill tops that list to add in.

@boomguy Thank you! Yeah, he's a blast in blue. Squared Off and Face the Past make it easier to venture into aspects other than Aggression. I think he'll be one I keep coming back to when new content comes out.

@Castlefrank47 Thanks! I've tried Quinjet on a few other heroes, but I really enjoy making use of the it provides in this deck. It just feels right to boost his resource generation and hit the villain hard with his damaging events or throw out some huge allies for big impact.

Love the deck! What about adding Beast to pull Organizational Support? It not Beast then maybe add Mighty Avengers?

Mar 21, 2025 D.M.Tip · 1643

@InigoMontoya Thank you! Beast is great to bring back Org Support for another shot each deck pass, but in my testing I wanted to try and keep as many Avengers as possible to make use of Quinjets in the mid to late game when needed. I tried some versions with Mighty Avengers, and it doesn't hurt the deck at all, I just generally had other priorities than getting that down early. I think since the dust has kind of settled, it would be worth checking out again though. Thanks!
