The last three hero packs have provided Thor with a handful of tools. Tools I feel like he was desperately missing to really make him shine. The inclusion of Moment of Triumph, Thor, Team-Building Exercise, Brute Force, and especially Into the Fray have helped catapult Thor into a new realm of fun and viability.

The core of the deck is simple, force minions to engage Thor with cards like Defender of the Nine Realms or Sentry and follow up with a devastating overkill attack to either hit the villain via Hammer Throw or remove a large chunk of threat off the main scheme via Into the Fray.

Since you'll be overkilling everything under the sun you can follow up with Moment of Triumph to stay in the fight or Chase Them Down to also remove some threat.

The deck is on the heavier side of the mana curve so we're going to be looking for some equally impressive ways of playing all these cards. Asgard, The Power in All of Us, The Power of Aggression, Avengers Mansion, Hall of Heroes, Quincarrier, and Team-Building Exercise are all paying for these tools in a variety of ways, but after playing through numerous games with the current build, this feels like the right spread of cards.

I'd say the deck is pretty tight, but if you're looking for the flex spots in this list I'd say you have room to play with:

Sentry - Good for helping you get extra "Have at Thee!" triggers on the villain turn and offering an impressive stat line, but not essential and can certainly cause more headaches than it's worth

Chase Them Down - Good for threat removal, but could be replaced if your playstyle is more aggressive than mine in which I'd use Mean Swing in its place

Brute Force - Provides a way to remove Tough on-demand, definitely a preference and would replace this with something that gives the piercing trait to the next attack card instead if I could

Down Time - You won't find too many times where you need to flip back to Odinson and he already has an above average recover stat

Endurance - With a baseline 14 health and his helmet giving another 5 health, it's definitely over the top
