Do you wake with the rising moon? If so, it's time to hunt delicious minions (Looking for Trouble), ensnare them with your dark magic (Pinned Down) and - when they least expect it - drink deep the cards from their veins! ("Bring It!")
Do not fear your unnatural hunger for cards. Here is a fang-tastic Halloween deck to sink your teeth into!

A Grave New World
The core idea behind this deck is as follows:
- Find minions (Angela, Looking for Trouble, encounter cards)
- Use Pinned Down to keep those minions around indefinitely
- Draw cards from them with "Bring It!"
And once you've had your fill of cards? Your vampiric allies will want their share!
Daredevil
- If a minion has their attack reduced to 0 from Pinned Down, Daredevil can drink their
bloodhp! 0 ATK minions still attack, they simply deal 0 damage - so it's possible for Daredevil to heal from them by defending!
Tigra
- Once Daredevil has drank his fill, Tigra lurks ready to drink their last drops of hp. Of course, should you wish to keep your Pinned Down snacks fresh and alive? Redirect Tigra's attention to any additional, unwanted guests! Never bite off more than you can chew.
Captain Marvel
- Captain Marvel is a more distinguished drinker. While she'll happily drink down cards from her foes, she prefers her hp to come properly prepared from the bloodbank! (Med Team)
Blade
- And then there is Blade. He has the Vampire trait. How could he not be included?
...And why stop with vampires? Raise the stakes and invite some friends to the party! Once you have an appetizing feast of minions set before you, call on the brutish violence of Hercules to share in the fun. Likewise, Throg loves it when you bring guests to dinner!
Brother Voodoo can use his wicked magic to focus your own power, helping you use your vampiric influence (Pheromones), dark regeneration (Contaminant Immunity), or keep you shrouded in the shadows (Inconspicuous).
What can slay a vampire? Not much! And what doesn't slay you makes you stronger! Ready yourself for another bite once your stats are boosted from the blood of multiple different aspect cards!
Combine all this and you might just feel immortal! Let's just hope Magneto's left the garlic at home!

Oct 25, 2022Really brilliant, your combinations. Very funny to use Daredevil in a Deck. Blade got kicked, sorry for that put two Espionage switched in. Now i can lurking in the shadows for more draw advantage. |
Oct 25, 2022Great deck. Very fun. Playing expert Goblin and keeping a couple Goblin soldiers and Gobling Knight on the board was fun. I would recommend maybe putting in SpiderGirl as an alternative. If you have to go down to alter-ego, all the minions scheming may be a problem. She can confuse one with each deck pass and at least mitigate some of that scheme. |
