It's Agent Venom, with one of my favorite cards of 2025: Firepower! This is a low complexity deck that draws a ton of cards with Face the Past and "Bring It!", helping you get through your deck fast and do lots of stuff.
| Player Type: | Spike |
| Player Count: | 1-4p |
| Key Cards: | Firepower, "Bring It!" |
| Complexity: | ★★★☆☆ |
| Damage: | ★★★★★ |
| Threat Control: | ★★★☆☆ |
| Survivability: | ★★★☆☆ |
| Economy: | ★★★★★ |
| Card Drawing: | ★★★★★★ |
He's got Guardian synergy, he's got weapon synergy, and he's ultra flexible at a range of player counts.
You want damage? Yeah, we got that B roll.
Firepower is great. Pay for it with Aggressive Energy and with one card you can do 12 damage with a single attack, while exhausting Pulse Grenade, and Venom's Pistols.
But Aggressive Energy is also great for use with Savage Attack to make sure we hit the kicker and also increase overkill damage. It's just a great card.
Card draw? We got card draw.
- Knowhere draws a card when you play a Guardian, which every ally here is
- Press the Advantage draws a card when you attack an enemy with status, which Venom has plenty of
- Hall of Heroes draws cards for killing minions, which you will do plenty of thanks in part to Face the Past
- "Bring It!" draws lots and lots of cards
- Face the Past will draw cards, but only once
Drawing so many cards is great--Face the Past will often draw into "Bring It!", putting a ton of cards in your hand for a huge turn.
Resources? This man is a living resource generator.
- Man on the Wall is a great resource generator that is cheap.
- Enhanced Awareness and Enhanced Physique are here to store resources for when you need them, and they also help hit your resource requirements for Behind Enemy Lines and Grasping Tendrils
The first deck pass involves getting Face the Past (and ideally "Bring It!") out to get all of our upgrades into play and fully set up. Once we are set up, just do a lot of Agent Venom stuff. Putting 4 extra minions into play with Face the Past helps make sure you will see more minions as the game goes on.
From there, even one minion in front of you becomes a 1-cost reduction on a card thanks to Man on the Wall, lets you cycle a card with "Bring It!", and is a potential token for Hall of Heroes. And it scales from there if you have more in front of you.
Venom is so much fun with Firepower and minion Summoning to power man on the wall/HoH. Love bringing the enhanced to hit his kickers, good stuff!
