HULK is downsizing!!!!

write anything you want here

The objective of this deck is to have allies in play in order to play the combo Teamwork and "You Got This!".

Teamwork is an interrupt and "You Got This!" is a response. Then, if able, you can play both on the same ally! So you can use twice the thwarts or attacks' basic powers of your allies while using Hulk’s basic power AND you could possibly have a ready!

Here some possible combos:

  • If you have Wonder Man in play, Hulk attacks for 3 + 3 with Teamwork = 6 damage. Then, as a response to Hulk’s basic attack, you play "You Got This!" for another 2 damage so 8 AND you can ready!
  • Goliath can use twice his thwart. And then, he can use his action and attacks for 1+4=5 damage. Then you use "You Got This!". Hulk attacks for 3+5=8 damage for a total of 13 damage and he readies. Since Responses apply before consequential damage, Goliath will be discarded first. Hulk attacks again for a total of 16 damage. If possible, play Hulk Smash on the first attack for a total of 26 damage!

Hulk’s forced interrupt make those combos very hard to play, so you will need some specific allies to help you:

  • Professor X will help with the confused and his 3 THW.
  • Black Panther also helps by keeping an event for you.
  • The other allies will help you thwarting

I am aware that this is not optimal but this deck is very funny (IMO).

You can also play this deck with Quicksilver since he likes to ready!

Any feedback will be appreciated!

This is a really cool concept! I would never have even thought about the combo with Teamwork and "You Got This!". Timing windows are a really interesting thing!

Have you considered running Go All Out, Push Ahead, or Mass Attack?

`@EarthTwister Thanks! To answer to your questions, no I didn't consider those cards because:

  • They are expensive for Hulk (4 Hand Size). Teamwork & "You Got This!" are 0-cost, which is good for Hulk. With his high hp, he can take damage and play allies or upgrades during 2 turns.
  • Those cards don't use basic powers, they require to exhaust, which is different. So they cannot be used with Teamwork. But could totally work with "You Got This!"

The cards you mentionned, I like to use them when you can buff hero's stats, like Quicksilver.

When he is fully built, you play Moxie, Maximum Velocity, & Morale Boost. You basic attack a first time for 6 damage, you ready and then you play Go All Out for 18 damage. If you can ready again, you deal another 6 damage (or more with "You Got This!".
