I like the straightforwardness of this card, but it is hard to want to use because the effect is so small. It is way overpriced for a normal character who takes one basic action per turn. It is in theory balanced for a character who takes two actions per turn, but in practice, it still doesn’t work on the many turns they want to recover, or exhaust dealing with an encounter card, and even when it does work, it is fine, but the upside is not very impressive, there are often more impactful cards to play. It is really looking for some combo where it can boost 4 or more basic actions in one turn, to give it some upside that makes you want to put it in your deck.

A bit odd that this card came in the same wave as Magical Enhancements. Hoping that in the future we can get more upgrade synergy cards so that these two can function a bit differently other than discard timing.

Edit: Magical Enhancements can be dragged out by Superpower Training and played in any aspect, the other can be recurred by Leadership Training and payed for by Finesse. Honestly having practically 6 copies of the same card + Leadership Training in one deck is definitely an experience.

Probably Quicksilver and X-23, who are the king and queen in amounts of readies per turn, could get use of it.

Basically, per 2 Effective Resources you need to get two extra readies to achieve an average effect (+3-ATK/THW). It will start to shine if you can ready more than two times per turn. Hard to achieve but definitively not impossible with the said heroes
