Player Type: Spike?
Main Player Count: 1, 2, 3, 4
Key Cards: Advanced Suit, X-23

Playthroughs:

Get Food From Your Friends

This deck aims to get and use your allies for resources and actions. Use Advanced Suit and X-Mansion to heal them. Attach Clarity of Purpose so you can always be wild-playing your events.

Your Friends

Each ally is meant to be a table ally. Do your best to keep them out and voltron all of them. Each upgrade is meant to go on each ally (except for Sidekick, that has to go on Wolverine).

You're welcome to prioritize your allies for Suit Up for your scenario. Here are my GENERAL priorities:

Take their Food on Stream

While they are in the battlefield, choose two allies/friends to attach Clarity of Purpose to (one should be attached to you) so you can take a resource from them.

Then use their activation to finish a side scheme or minion, and discard a double to heal them two!

Honorary Friends

I didn't include Children of the Atom because I had to take at least one Honorary X-Men for Adam Warlock, and I liked the health benefits. So I went with three Honoraries to create consistency instead of bottlenecking. However, take this as an opportunity to make the deck your own and let me know if you like CotA better! It's that d@mn CotA, it's so hot right now!

Once your friends are honorary, you can play Danger Room Training on them to make those activations really powerful.

Keep Your Health Up

If you use X-Mansion to heal your allies if any need it, use Crew Quarters and Down Time to make sure you can usually get back to full health each flip down. You'll either be doing your own defending or using statuses to survive the villain phase.

Also, if you just despise >40-card decks, remove 1 Suit Up.

Really like this. Love the inclusion of Adam Warlock and Advance Suit. Great work as always!

That's such a cool idea! I'll have to play this at some point!

Hey hey! This is fire(works?)! Using Plasmoid Energy for Adam Warlock is awesome and once you can get Advanced Suit, he can stick around for a long time! It looks like a blast!

The Cable + X-23 combo is my favorite ally set atm. This looks like a good option for me to learn how to pilot Jubilee. Question, why use Advanced Suit instead of Reinforced Suit? The requirement of discard and defeat side scheme makes me weary. Also, Think it can handle some bloat by PSS? Cable and Advanced Suit would love more triggers.

@Castlefrank47, @SoloMarvelChampion, @D.M.Tip thanks yall! I appreciate that.

@Dayspring thanks for checking out the deck! Agreed about X-23 and Cable. You’re welcome to use Reinforced Suit, I liked that Advanced Suit costs 0, and it wasn’t hard to set up a minion kill or side scheme defeat when I played this in 2- and 4-player games, especially once you have Danger Room Training on everyone. Since this deck has 6 double resource cards, you’ll be able to heal two (plus any healing from X-Mansion). So you’re basically able to keep the health and use it malleably between resourcing from Clarity of Purpose and a consequential from an activation. This gives you a lot of good avenues for your events or removing villain attachments. But also, since Honorary gives +1 health and is 0 cost, it was just easier to play that way. It also leaned into getting to use Adam and have consistency of making him Honorary quickly.

Gréât work here, with some unusuals cards! But i have a question: how do you defend ?

Feb 11, 2025 andyr · 18489

@Proust, thanks so much! As far as defending, you can use your basic defend or take the hit. This deck contains a lot of ways to get your health back. If you get X-Mansion, Crew Quarters, and Down Time, you can get a 9 health recover across one flip down. You can chump, but only do that in emergencies. In multiplayer, ask the protection player for help occasionally.

Awesome deck, as always :)

This is a really clever deck. I, too, like X-23 with Advanced Suit, but taking advantage of those 6 double-resource cards is a great idea!

Loving seeing Jubilee in such a unique deck!

I really like the hero and love playing her! Leadership is probably a weak point for me because I tend to ally swarm in leadership. I definitely need to try this deck out!

Thank you for sharing!

This was very Fun I love the synergy of using the allies as your resources comes in clutch for poping off blinding Flash and Grand finale

Fun deck. Just watch out for "Lost" Child from her nemesis set. I suppose it was amusing watching Cable, Adam Warlock, and Wolverine get picked up by a giant egg-shaped robot, though.

A great deck. I just finished against Nebula playing 2-handed with X-23's Justice deck: marvelcdb.com It was easier to beat Nebula than expected. Sidekick Wolverine did a lot of work, but Adam Warlock always got the kicker for additional 3 damage. I'll be trying this deck again.

In a multiplayer game, if someone else is playing Cable, who would you recommend to replace him in this deck?
