You’re not brash if you can back it up! I’ve been absolutely loving this deck and it’s reinvigorated my love for Shooty McArrows. It also showcases some overlooked yet strong Avenger cards
I think the jets are doing the heavy lifting there…

Government Liaison has 11 targets in deck, but even better is when you get to permanently reduce Mockingbird by 1 with this card. That also guarantees Sky-Destroyer going off each turn, turning Bobbi into a character who comes in doing at least 2 damage plus another 2 or 2 thwart.

Agent 13 + Inspiring Presence with Helicarrier out. Oh Lordy is this good. At worst it’s a Get Ready that gets around consequential damage, and that much needed thwart Pigeonvision needs. At best you get online super quick with multiple Helicarrier actions. You could also become someone’s best friend and pass the savings onto them!

Rapid Response has two incredible options with this deck, either being a best friend at the table with Maria Hill or keeping Agent 13 healthy enough to keep her Helicarrier shenanigans going.

Government Liaison lets you play Maria Hill out of turn in multiplayer, calling for action and letting everyone start the turn off with a bonus card.

If you can get him down Dum Dum Dugan always has a +1 at least with The Triskelion. With this deck I've been able to get him to the table several times.

Since Birdretina’s kit can essentially take care of itself, this allows you the flexibility to get the S.H.I.E.L.D package online.

United We Stand turns into more free ally activations but if you aren’t feeling it I’d swap them out for Build Support and Call for Backup
Final note: I’ve really enjoyed this deck in solo and multiplayer, with a slight advantage to MP as you can stay flipped down and build up, where often in solo you have to flip up early. It still sings especially late game but you will often have to face tank turn 1 which can be a little worrisome with how squishy Crowcornea can be.
After that? ABSA. Always Be Shooting Arrows.

Dec 17, 2023Avengers Tower for double discount on Mockingbird? I think Government Liaison has 10 targets as it can't be used to play for itself ;). Looks fun - I like him in leadership with a swarm of cheap allies and in Justice SHIELD & this mixes them both. As you say he's self sufficient so the allies/SHIELD stuff can get on with their own game! |

Dec 18, 2023Personally I think Sharpshooter is a trap for Hawkeye, which is sad since it seemed the attempt was to help him out. It’s better if you build around it with Digging Deep and White Fox but it really hurts to discard Mockingbird or an arrow for 1 damage. And at least his Hero quote is accurate :P |

A question/idea: how about including multiple copies of Command Team and using Reinforced suit/Honorary Avenger to give Agent 13th a huge pool of HP, and then use her ability to keep readying Command Teams which, in turn, you keep using to ready her? I feel like you could get 5-6 activations from her in a single turn... |

Dec 30, 2023She is pretty important but Cap can manage! Professor X would be a good choice as you can do your shield shenanigans, flip down and get Stinger for free for example. White Tiger is also great in that spot. If you want to stay on theme I would add a PSS. All are great options between getting a shield support, a serum upgrade, or have Dugan come crash landing from the sky :P |

Jan 16, 2024Thank you for this deck, I am a big fan of Hawkeye as a character but haven't had much success with him in this game. I really enjoy this deck and it gives a viable option for him. I also like the deviation from the standard shield Justice deck. |

Jan 23, 2024i love building an archetype and seeing what heroes it works for. have you tried Spider-Woman, Captain America, or Captain Marvel as well? they have some S.H.I.E.L.D. in their kits/identities as well. but why try with any else, when you can just shoot a lot of arrows :D |
Feb 21, 2024Arrow shooting does go down considerably playing other heroes, sadly, but I think all three would run it really well! Cap loses out on Agent 13, but he's already really strong. Spider-Woman with the S.H.I.E.L.D Blue/yellow would be quite fierce I'd imagine, and no one could pay for all of this quite like Carol! |
This deck is fenomenal, very strong. I didn't like Hawkeye before, but this list helped me beat expert Mutagen Formula for the first time.
The fact that you can play Shield card discounted is great, especially when you can play Mockingbard every single turn and prevent a lot of damage.
