Iron Man Perfected Variation

This deck includes minor modifications on what I think is currently the best updated Iron Man deck in the database, by MiguelCantillo3:

I have made some adjustments based on beta-testing and my own preferences. Justification follows.

Upgrades

Forcefield Generator: -1 as it is an expensive upgrade and is limited to one in play at a time.

Plasma Pistol: -1 being restricted and limited to one use per turn.

This version of the deck runs the same number of upgrades except these two copies, I think this does not negatively impact the opening hand viability significantly.

Events

Added Defiance, Preemptive Strike, and dropped a copy of Repurpose.

The idea behind Preemptive Strike is both to help reducing the ammount of damage received but also intercept attacks to other players (being a defense event) and really work as a protection hero sometimes for a change.

Dropping a copy of Repurpose seems justified as, although this card is indeed awesome, I am only able to really use in middle to late game, where its value is contextual. Has saved my life more than once, though.

Defiance added as a cheap way to mitigate damage when setting up the deck, at the early stages of suit deployment.

Allies

Allies in the original deck turned out to be too expensive, at least for my gameplay style and/or selected villains. Thus, except for Nova which for me is a must in any energy-based deck, replaced with the always welcome Victor Mancha

Resources

Dropped The Power of Protection because it is only really helpful for 6 cards in this version of the deck.

Kept Genius and Strength as they are indeed incredibly helpful together with Pepper Pots, even they don't help Repulsor Blast.

Support

As the aeiral trait is incredibly helpul and we are lacking mental resources, added Quincarrier in case Ingenuity fails to make its appearance. I also have found this card very useful in discarding villain conditions that caused me trouble with the original deck.
