"With great powers comes great responsibilities" Spidey has always defended others by risking his life and continuing to get up. So I decided to assemble this deck using the protection cards to make the most of the spider senses, taking as little damage as possible and spending few resources.

For this reason I have included a copy of Enhanced Reflexes which at cost two generates one resource per phase for up to three. Together with the Web-Shooter it allows you to generate two resources per phase for our protection cards, three if we start the turn as Peter Parker.

Iron Fist and Never Back Down allow us to stun several opponents in order to keep under control the number of attacks to defend. Furthermore, used in combination with webbed up they guarantee us a huge advantage over the villain.

Electrostatic Armor it is very strong against low HP enemies and gives us decent damage control.

Desperate Defense and Indomitable in my opinion they are must-haves in a deck based on parry: they restore Spider-man allowing us to parry again, they give us +2 def in the case of Desperate Defense, which allows us to tank a lot of damage. Also for this i chose to play a copy of Endurance which gives us 3 extra HP.

I use only one copy of Bait and Switch because it can be useful when the villain is plotting too much while two copies of Preemptive Strike are needed to reduce the damage to us and our allies, including heroes.

The last two cards that deserve a special mention are Nerves of Steel and Unflappable. The first generates still other resources but only for our protection papers. The second instead makes us draw a card when we parry and take no damage. I am undecided whether to insert one or two copies of Get Behind Me! instead of I don't know what. I think it's a very strong card but sometimes it stays in hand and ends up being discarded as a resource and that's why I took them away. What do you think about?

Thanks to everyone in advance for the comments and advice. I hope you like this deck!

See you soon for the next deck... maybe... Legolas???
