Trying this deck, which takes after "Ketchup and Mustard" from Mathetes, check it out! (see link: https://marvelcdb.com/decklist/view/8342/spider-woman-ketchup-mustard-1.0)

I really liked his deck, and a few thoughts occured to me while checking Mathete's list and from the back and forth messages we had, so I'm testing this list as a result. Concept is in the title: low prices, freebies and refunds!

Refunds?

if you have Martial Prowess in play and pay for Press the Advantage after you've played Pheromones, you get to draw.

Same goes for Clear the Area paid with Sense of Justice, if your clear all threaths. Skilled Investigator can also help here, if you've just cleared a side scheme.

Basically, you could play them both and still have 5 cards in hand. So... "refunds". Helps you cycle through your deck, always good with SW.

Sense of Justice also helps paying for Multitasking and Inconspicuous, while Martial Prowess also helps with Venom Blast.

Freebies

I choose to include Turn the Tide and Skilled Strike, 0 - costed cards that also boost your basic statline.

That being said, I agree with Mathetes : Piercing Strike can take this spot against villains who get tough a lot (KANG is a perfect example of this). So let's say it can be considered a flex spot.

Low prices

The curve is ridiculously low, with 32 cards costing 2 or less. Using Sense of Justice and Martial Prowess, plus Finesse... you can pay for 3 to 4 cards a turn with those resources in play, especially if you get draws from Clear the Area, Press the Advantage, Captain Marvel, Skilled Investigator, or if you started in alter-ego with Jessica Drew's Apartment in play.

Allies

Hulk is a block unless you can check the top card before attaking, knowing for sure. I decided to include Tigra, she's so helpful, especially against Ultron Drones. Same goes for Wiccan, which I prefer over Quake, altought both have their uses. It's more of a personnal preference at this point.

And... results?

So far it beat a couple expert scenarios (first 2). I also wanted to turn it up a notch: I got to defeat Rhino, Heroic 1 (a surprise, I usually play expert... I thought for sure I'd get pummeled, but Pheromones was just so good!).

Have yet to try this against all scenarios... may have to wait as tomorrow Galaxy's most wanted should be the major attraction!

Very cool! I’m glad that I could give you an idea for a deck.
