Well hello there. This is my first deck on MarvelCDB and I'm excited hear any thoughts or improvements you can suggest!

We know the double resource cards can be some of the most powerful in the game. but if you've played Champions long enough, chances are you've had a hand look something like this: Genius, 2xThe Power of Aggression, Chase Them Down, and Battle Fury, and thought...well this is awkward.

My goal for this list was to take these fundamentally powerful cards - the double resource generators - cram as many of them as I can into a list, and seek to maximize their usefulness each turn. Wasp's pack even added another one to the game, The Power in All of Us. T'Challa gives us 3 more with Vibranium, so we are positively swimming in resources.

The gameplan - while our deck is built differently to maximize the resource cards, there's nothing too fancy going on with the plan. We build up our Black Panther upgrades, deploy allies along the way to chip in damage/thwart and take hits for us in hero form, and close it out with some Wakanda Forever!s or a Goliath+Rapid Response turn.

The build - now here's where it gets fun. We basically want to make it so our double resource cards are never dead, and we never end up with the ugly type of hand like my earlier example. Enter Lockjaw. This guy single-handedly makes The Power in All of Us active all the time as we can play him from discard. 3 cards from hand for 2 ATK/THW and a block is on rate with some of the best 2-cost allies like Spider-Girl or Quake. Though the ceiling isn't as high for Lockjaw, the floor is respectable. The other key cards are Make the Call and Call for Aid. Despite being zero cost cards, they draw or enable us to play an expensive card that will make use of our double resources.

A few other cards of note - Quincarrier is another basic card for The Power in All of Us and helps sneak in those Wakanda Forever!s or pay for villain attachments

While most allies are cheap enough to play, activate, and chump an attack, Kate Bishop Hawkeye is a neat one to keep in play, as she can turn extra Vibranium, Genius, Energy, or Strength cards into 2 damage. Anyone who has dug into the expected damage/card ratios of cards in the game knows that 2 damage/card is a solid rate (see Skilled Strike, Swinging Web Kick, Vibranium Arrow) exceeded only by some of the best allies, or cards with severe restrictions or drawbacks (Toe to Toe, Mean Swing).

The other allies are simply strong allies and have diverse effects that make Make the Call into a Swiss army knife of sorts. They can definitely be swapped for other allies depending on the scenario/modular sets in your game.

Give it a try, and hope you enjoy!
