Warping Reality with Big Data -- CoH26

Can S.H.I.E.L.D.S. big data and intelligence assets give Wanda better control over her reality warping powers? This deck suggests they would! This will be my final deck posted as part of CoH26. I made it for my partner and it was something of a last minute build. CoH26 was our first Marvel Champions con and we both had a lot of fun. We were also pleasantly surprised with how well this scry-heavy deck worked in multiplayer as neither of us had a lot of experience playing or building for Scarlet Witch. Anyway, here's the deck.

"You want to see the future? The Scry's the Limit!

Blindfold, Gambit, Melinda May, and Global Logistics give this deck a lot of ways to snoop into the encounter deck, either avoiding big problems (and boost cards) entirely, saving them for later when they are more manageable, or giving the table a heads-up on what's ahead. Agent Coulson, Spycraft, and Warp Reality give further protection against nasty encounter cards.

Naturally, you can use your intimate knowledge of the villain's deck to set up a Hex Bolt or a Molecular Decay. In the best case scenario, you can use Scarlet Witch's Crest and her hero ability to line up the precise boost icons you want. Even when this is impossible, knowing these cards' outcomes in advance let's you plan your turn better.

Know thy Enemy, Know Thyself

You can also use Global Logistics to look at your deck, as either a hero or AE, and use it to set up favorable card draw situations with Spiritual Meditation, Agatha Harkness, Wanda's AE ability, or Wolfsbane. Even if these specific combos aren't yet in play, Wanda's many card draw and discard options let her select better hands to deal with the board state.

S.H.I.E.L.D. has a lot of overlap with scrying, allowing for additional synergies. Agent 13 can stretch your hand by re-readying Helicarrier. Monica Chang and 2x Surveillance Team provide on-demand thwart and supports to exhaust for Global Logistics and Homeland Intervention. All these cards, including the 0-cost events, can trigger Sky-Destroyer for reliable damage since they all have the S.H.I.E.L.D. trait.

Conclusion

We've had a lot of fun playing this in big multiplayer games at the con and in solo/duo-play at home. S.H.I.E.L.D. and Mystic traits combine for a thematically fun, Emperor Palpatine-like, feel. Have S.H.I.E.L.D. feed you timely intelligence, meditate on your troves of arcane and mundane knowledge, and use it to absolutely scramble the villain. I hope you give it a shot!
