Voltron-Rich Environment
This started as a Two-Gun Kid Voltron deck: Get a tough on him with Ready for Action and Voltron him with:
- Enraged
- Inspired
- Reinforced Suit (helps when he doesn't have a Tough)
With Boot Camp, Enraged, and Inspired he's attacking for 6 against two enemies and just knocking off his tough.
I don't like having only 1 option for a Voltron though, so all of the allies are great Voltron options!
Some changes for Version 2.0
I rarely post a version 2.0, but after (and during) 15 games at 1, 2, and 3 player counts, I made the following changes:
- Added Iron Lad
- Dust >> Hulk (I talk about Hulk below)
- Brawn >> Tigra (Tigra with a Tough can heal to full because her attack's consequential damage will knock off her tough, then she heals 1)
- Those changes got me to all AVENGER allies and prompted the following:
- Innovation >> Mighty Avengers (basically a second Boot Camp+)
- Quincarrier >>Avengers Tower (Finesse can generate the Thor needs, and Tower gives me a non-aspect way to increase my ally limit while also making each ally cheaper)
I also:
- Added a Sidekick for Captain Marvel
- Cut one War Room
- Added 1 Lie in Wait and 1 Counterattack (I did this for further deck thinning, but you could add two of either one instead if your prefer).
Some changes for Version 3.0
The only changes I made for Version 3.0 were:
- War Room >> Marked
- Counterattack >> Marked
- Lie in Wait >> Marked
These make your buffed-ally attacks against minions do a little extra work, especially the allies which attack multiple minions at once (Thor and Two-Gun Kid).
HULK
Normally I would never Voltron Hulk, but he can attack for 8 when fully kitted out and...
- Spider-Woman gets to look at the top card of your deck while in alter-ego, so you'll know what's gong to get discarded if you attack with him
- I don't have to attack with Hulk because I can attack with Iron Lad and add Hulk's ATK (which is good, because there are only a handful of resources in the deck )
I love a good Voltron deck! Spider-Woman is an amazing base to make this kind of deck happen. Boot Camp + Mighty Avengers is killer. Good work!
