"He's a Butterfly... but also, very Operative!"

– A civilian, about Iron Man

Solo version:

Concept:

  • Fairly straightforward!
  • Play Iron Man as usual: build your armor in the early stage.
  • Then flip to hero and use your Mark V Helmet in combination with Operative Skill to remove 2 threat from each scheme, and your Powered Gauntlets in combination with Float Like a Butterfly and some confuse effects to deal 3 damage with each Gauntlet.

Other combos:

Customizations:

Anyway, enjoy, have fun,
and don't forget to drop a like/fav, it's always appreciated :)

I tried it against expert Klaw with a lot of side schemes and it worked wonders :)

I'm building this!!

1) It's great to see a Core Set Hero build that isn't one of the Core Set PreCons.

2) I hadn't noticed the Helmet was tagged as a (thwart). The synergy with Operative Skill is mega!! I'm gonna be scouting through my other heroes now, to see where else to use it.

Thanks @kimykun and @H16HP01N7!

As per other other heroes and Operative Skill, no other hero upgrade is as good as the Mark V Helmet I found:

@Game Design Raccoon

It's a great interaction that I just built my own Confuse lock, mega thwarting deck, for this week's One Shot, around.

As for other heroes that might like Operative Skill, combine it with Ms Marvel and Shrink. With Sneak By, she'll smash 6 off of 1 scheme (which of course you put Overwatch on...). With Multitasking, Shrink, Operative Skill and Overwatch, she can smash 15 Threat for 1 blue resource... (which of course she can get from her Suit, it's a Wild).
