It can be played solo though or alongside any other deck with some minor changes.

Playing alongside a groot deck allows for consistent use of Flora and Fauna powering out upgrades and getting extra activations out of them.

The idea of this deck is to take advantage of Rocket's many weapons and utilize them with Firepower. This can allow you to preserve counters or take advantage of an upgrade with 0 counters and still get some damage since Rocket's upgrades stay out.

Use Reload to ready upgrades up and then hit Firepower for even more damage!

Minion Mashing:

Rocket loves overkilling minions so let's take advantage of it!

Use Air Cover to put Marked or Suppressing Fire on a minion and gain some extra incentives for defeating them.

Suppressing Fire really helps with Rocket's survivability and marked provides overkill for instances of not using Particle Cannon.

Use Target Spotter to steal minions away from other players and let Rocket blast them.

Hall of Heroes is here to provide more card draw in AE. Flipping down and tinkering alongside drawing from HoH leads to some really fun turns. Bonus if you draw into Moon Girl and use 3 resources to pay for her.

Ingenuity and Salvage make this extremely easy to pull off.

Armory:

The key is to get Side Holster out so we can have 3 restricted weapons.

It's best to have Rocket Launcher, Particle Cannon and Rocket's Pistol out. We are supplementing his weaponry with Pulse Grenade which are here strictly to use with Firepower.

Turns can looks like this, blow a minion up with Particle Cannon for overkill and card draw plus potential healing from Suppressing Fire.

Play Firepower and exhaust Rocket Launcher, a Pistol and Pulse Grenade for 9 damage that can be split among targets if need be.

This also works well with Schadenfreude as each target you hit will be healing you for 2.

Play Reload and ready up Rocket's tech upgrades allowing for another use of the Cannon, Launcher and Pistol.

Summon minions with Spoiling for a Fight or Face the Past and get a ready. Use your upgrades to defeat them and allow Rocket to thwart for 3 once his Thruster Boots are on.

Fill up HoH and flip down to draw a million cards then do it all again!

Support Squad:

Psylocke provides confuses for us to flip.

Throg is usually going to have a tough since we are going to be bringing minions out regularly.

Thor brings a tough and can attack multiple minions to set up overkill if need be.

Moon Girl can only be played in AE but provides great card draw and solid stats. We will also be flipping regularly to take advantage of tinkering as well as HoH.

In solo, swap in the Groot ally to still be able to use Flora and Fauna.

This deck has been a blast to play and even in solo handles itself well. Rocket thwarts extremely well and his weapons alongside Firepower rip through villains.
