Even though he's on the art for Looking for Trouble, Drax has never been a minion killer. Yes, he can exhaust to kill one, but that just means he didn't attack the villain. All that has changed with the addition of Spoiling for a Fight, Aggressive Stance, Firepower and Blood Rage. Here's a rundown of how those cards help him:
-
Spoiling for a Fight alone allows Drax to attack the villain and attack a minion without any other readies.
-
Aggressive Stance + Spoiling for a Fight + Knife Leap/Firepower means Drax gets a ready, then can pull either Firepower or Knife Leap to hand. That means the minion will be gone when either card is played which will trigger...
-
Blood Rage and/or Battle Fury which is a ready and a card.Drax likes both of those.
-
Fluid Motion is conditional but you should have enough attack events and ways to tutor them (Aggressive Stance and Keep Up the Pressure) to have the +1 be semi-permanent. Really, it's a badge of honor to run Drax in aggression with 6 HP or less to make "Now I'm Mad" work.
-
Jarnbjorn and Side Holster are there to give you 3 weapons to exhaust for Firepower, but it's a good card with just 1 weapon, and a very good card with 2. Don't wait for 3 weapons to use it.

Multiplayer

Here's an altered version of this deck ( Multiplayer Minion Killing Drax) for 3 and 4 player.
-
I've added Directed Force which works on Firepower and Knife Leap. There's a Helicarrier to be a team player, Combat Training for more damage, and Lock and Load if there's other weapon carrying heroes with you.

As always, have fun!

1) The card you discard could be a needed upgrade like DWI Theet or Drax 's Knife, and with a 4 hand size, you might not see it again this game. 2) The discarded card could be a ready. So, that's really losing out on 2 cards with DWI. 3) There's no double resources. So, max added damage is 1. |

But the standard damage would be +1 for EACH weapons you exhaust. Similar to using Aggressive Energy, the damage number that is increased (base 3) is multiplied. So if you exhaust 3 weapons and discard a single resource icon, you would do 4 damage x3. So yea, it would be costly for Drax to play (moreso than a hand-size-5 hero), but the cost-benefit is there in a longer game. Maybe he wouldn't have a longer game, though. |

Wouldn't Sharpshooter work as well, and reliably? I've seen a lot of Firepower decks recently, but everyone seems to be sleeping on it.
This deck looks pretty great, though. I like the cut of your gib.
