So what’s has Hulk’s main problem been, well, apart from low hand size? Yep, threat removal. Hoping this deck will go some way to addressing that, as well as as mighty a smashing as we can muster with plenty of readying too.
Starting as usual with Upgrades. Combat Training, of course kicks us off. 4 ATT as standard. Good start. Let’s chuck in a Jarnbjorn - more on that later. Unshakable, Down Time and Endurance to keep the motor running where Deft Focus and Martial Prowess for some resource generators.
Absolutely no extra supports. Nan, he’s a tough s.o.b., he don’t need ‘em.
One ally in Blade; the usual Avenger trick of exhausting him with Earth's Mightiest Heroes to ready Hulk. You’ve also got plenty of strength resources if you need to use him, of course. This combination, along with Mean Swing and Jarnbjorn, means you’re possibly doing 7 + 4 damage from 1 readying. Very nice too.
Assess the Situation feels like a must, Quick Strike is in both as a strength resource if you don’t need it, but useable enough depending on what’s in your hand.
So, the aforementioned threat removal comes from Smash the Problem and Looking for Trouble. The former, assuming you have Combat Training out, is 1 for 4 threat removal. Decent.
So yeah, fingers crossed this might play decently. All these decks I keep making…should probably get round to play them one day…
