This Leadership deck isn't around some random army, it's all about the Superpowered Siblings! When I got Sidekick, at first I only looked at the signature allies of each deck. But then it struck me: Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are the perfect fit for three reasons:
- Even more readies and stats for Quicksilver via Side-by-Side, also meaning even more ressources via Friction Resistance
- Keeping Scarlet Witch alive for the whole game allows for more card draw in alter-ego
- Leadership Quicksilver is overlooked anyway, Moxie and Morale Boost are great cards for him in my opinion
My goal was to make this deck as flexible as possible, not relying on any specific combos or mulligans (apart from getting Friction Resistance as soon as possible). Quicksilver can search for Scarlet Witch and Sidekick with Suit Up, build some of his upgrades in the first few turns, or start off strong on his own with Moxie, Morale Boost and Maximum Velocity.
As soon as Scarlet Witch and Sidekick are out, flipping often has great value and should be done as often as possible. Healing up has even more value with Down Time, Endurance and his card draw ability enables him to get Friction Resistance super fast. Any discarded upgrades can be put back into the deck with Serval Industries. Ant-Man is a cheap ally that allows searching for the remaining upgrades for Scarlet Witch via Suit Up and ready Quicksilver via Earth's Mightiest Heroes. After all upgrades for Scarlet Witch are out, Suit Up loses its value, which is why I only included two copies of it.
In total, this deck has 10 readies and 8 stat boost events (11 with Side-by-Side) for Quicksilver, so he can attack and thwart multiple times and then defend with his massive stat line, while paying most of these cards with Friction Resistance alone. Together with Scarlet Witch and her three upgrades, they can wreak havoc on anything crossing their way. I find this deck a super cool twist on leadership, having neither an army of allies nor a voltron ally, but rather a superpowered hero AND signature ally, making this deck feel super thematic. I hope you have as much fun with it as I do!

Sep 08, 2024I've thought about doing a sidekick for QS but haven't tried it. Looks fun! |
Sep 08, 2024Love it! I just put up a mirror of this deck (Scarlet Witch w/Quicksilver Sidekick) a week ago. |
Sep 09, 2024Solid concept, definitly gonna test it. Blade can be another cheap ally-block (1 cost) AND is an avenger. Deft Focus is really good on quicksilver with so many super powers... |
Sep 09, 2024Thanks for all the positive feedback! And yeah, I forgot to add that my collection isnt that big (yet)... that sounds like a great addition |
Sep 10, 2024That stat boost from side by side is so sweet! |
Sep 11, 2024I'm probably going to take innovation out for deft focus.. 1 heal each time through the deck for scarlet witch doesn't seem as good when i can just save a ready on quicksilver and flip and heal to restore her health, possibly twice(once on the next turn as well) Also considering taking out down time for blade since healing more with pietro means healing more with scarlet witch but that might not be the best choice.. all in all great deck! |
Great deck.
We were able to defeat Thanos for the first time.
