Hi welcome to the sixth in a series of decks I plan to build directly influenced by the amazing Get Up and Game! Perfect Match-Up series found here: https://youtu.be/1I2q3sT6FoA Please check out the channel and the video since I thought it was an amazing gift to the community and it inspired me to start playing Champions more regularly.

My goal with this series is to create a unique deck inspired by each challenge match-up in the video using all the suggested cards plus some of my own to create a deck that any player can use to check out the challenge. If you’re missing some cards from a deck please ask in the comments and I’ll do my best to find replacements from your collection so that you can have fun too! Hopefully I can build a deck that can beat the villain on both standard and expert. I’ll try to document any tweaks I made while playing the deck too.

For this match up we have She-Hulk Vs Absorbing Man which is anther relatively easy match up and Absorbing Man is completely out-classed. Our strategy here is simply: Take advantage of the high threat threshold on the main scheme to flip She-Hulk as much as possible to get in extra damage while also losing health so that we can use Gamma Slam to take down the second phase in one go. I played one game on standard and 2 games on expert. Her nemesis showed up in both my expert games. I won all three. I will say to please keep an eye on She-Hulk's health if you are going for the Gamma Slam since there is a lot of indirect damage in this scenario.

This deck focuses mostly on basic cards and She-Hulks kit and is supplemented with Foiled! to lower threat being added to the main scheme and One Way or Another removing whatever has built up once we turn back into She-Hulk. Superhuman Law Division and legal practice can help with threat as well when needed. Aim for a One Way or Another in your opening hand since the side schemes in the villain deck are non-threatening and will give you a leg up in the early game. Professor X and Nick Fury can also help and Lockjaw is always around if you accidentally draw a handful of resources.

You can build up your board state with Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Quincarrier, Deft Focus, and Focused Rage to counteract your lower hand size in hero mode. Meditation can also help with your high cost allies and supports. Unshakable will protect you from Stun and Confuse and Endurance will help you get the full damage from Gamma Slam with a little less risk.

For offense, Superhuman Strength will get the villain stunned and then you can use One-Two Punch and Limitless Stamina to just keep on punching. Ideally when you get the villain into his second form, you'll have lost enough health to take him down in a single Gamma Slam but if not, a couple more punches will do him in.
