This deck was crafted along with 3 other decks from one core set of Marvel Champions cards as a part of the MCM 2023 New Player's Month content. The idea here was to make 4-Multiplayer decks with one coreset that are slight tweaks.

When building these decks we picked a theme or combo:

Here we wanted to show off Spider-Man's ability to maintain hero form using Armored Vest, Backflip, and Indomitable to table defend as much as possible.

We included a basic suite of staples:

Nick Fury, Mockingbird, Energy, Genius, Strength, Helicarrier

And flavored to taste.

Strategy Notes

Remember to mulligan deep with Spidey - you are typically only flipping down infrequently to make good use of those Scientist abilities while you can.
First Aid is here to help you maintain hero form in a pinch or to help keep another player afloat.
You'll want to dig for that armored vest as fast as possible.
Be on the lookout for Combat Training from She-Hulk to power up your Counter-Punch and for Inspired from Captain Marvel on your favorite cool Black Cat.

To upgrade this deck pickup the Vision hero pack for Defiance, you may also consider Doctor Strange for Unflappable or Quicksilver for Never Back Down

Jan 11, 2023 KennedyHawk · 17355 `@valcor` correct it’s one per player but this deck is focused on multiplayer so I can throw it on Black Panther or She-Hulk and bump them to 3 DEF. The main reasons is we are building with just the core and want to get an armored vest on asap so including 3 makes me more likely to see it in my first hand. I’d you are willing to mulligan 6 cards you have something like a 60% chance to see it turn 1 instead of 30%!
