Ghost-Spider is an overall fun and pretty strong hero who utilizes her ability to ready up often from other interrupts and responses. This decklist will focus on building upon this ability with defensive cards that allow Ghost-Spider to either thwart or attack even while on the defensive.

Many of her signature cards provide either interrupts or responses in order to allow her utilize her hero abilities. Cards such as Ghost Kick, Phantom Flip, and Pirouette and Punch are solid examples of her kit working in synergy with her hero ability.

Along with her hero specific events, the protection aspect cards I've selected also allow Ghost-Spider to have more options of cards for her hero ability. The key card for the protection events is Nerves of Steel. With all of your defense events only costing 1 resource, two of which have extra effects if used with an resource, it's a very useful card for this build. These particular events are Jump Flip, Side Step, and Preemptive Strike. The first helps with threat management while providing damage negation, the second one provides a little extra damage and damage negation, and the third helps by leaving the villain with no boost icons to use that activation and provides more damage on defense. And lastly we have Flow Like Water to do a little more damage any time we use one of our defense cards. With this our defensive cards become cheap to pay, give us secondary effects, and will always provide at least 1 point of damage.

These events also play well with George Stacy, who can hold onto our events, whether they're our hero specific events or if they come from our aspect.

Finally the deck has a minor Web-Warrior strategy, working with characters such as Silk, who can provide us with a free treachery removal, removing cards like Shadow of the Past, and Advance. We bring Spider-UK, who not only brings some needed bulk, but also can provide some good damage when he defends. Spider-Man provides us with an immediate ready when's he brought out. And finally Spider-Man (Miles) acts as another body on the table, but also works in tangent for us with Young Love. These four work in tangent with Web of Life and Destiny, and Across the Spider-Verse.

And we top the deck off with essential cards you'd want to run in most decks. The big three of Energy, Genius, and Strength, along with the duo of Endurance and Down Time.

With this build it will provide Ghost-Spider with a rather unique defensive game that allows her to utilize her rather reactive playstyle to major use. This build can work in true solo or in multiplayer. You can trade out Miles for a copy of Jocasta and Young love with a copy of Avengers Mansion, or Helicarrier, but I just liked the thematic nature of Miles.
