Ideal state villain phase/player phase looks something like:
Counterattack + Retaliate >> into a Mean Swing enhanced basic attack to defeat a minion >> Hall of Heroes >> Chase Them Down to manage some threat >> ready with Battle Fury to thwart off a bit >> followed by a Wakanda Forever! ending with Vibranium Suit to heal up.
-
Ideally, Black Panther is hovering around 2-4 HP below is max so that he can fully make use of his Vibranium Suit without being in any real danger.
-
Energy Daggers and Panther Claws both have the Weapon trait, giving you the opportunity to use a double-Mean Swing. If you already have Combat Training down, that's a 9-point basic attack.
-
Endurance give's a bit of breathing room since this build is not trying to defend the villain attacks.
-
Battle Fury is a nice little card because it works on a couple of levels : you can manage your HP down if it's too high for Vibranium Suit and gives you flexibility to swing again or use your thwart action.
-
You probably want to flip back to T'Challa every third turn or so to setup a huge turn as Black Panther with FIVE extra cards from your Hall of Heroes glory counters and The Golden City.
Possible future changes:
-
Mockingbird is a bit at odds with Counterattack, but for now I think she's too useful to leave out. You likely will need some turns of not getting your face punched by the villain anyway.
-
First Aid's value is questionable when being used to heal heroes, but it keeps you taking hits longer when you don't have Wakanda Forever! or it's just not enough healing. Right now I'm unsure if it's worth the play or not.
