Beaten Klaw, Rhino Green Goblin and Ultron on Expert so far via tests. New to game, I was drawn to more Protection or Justice based decks, but then I started to wonder about how Aggro felt. The answer is "It feels good to be the Odinson."
Why Thor in particular? That's simple. Just feast thine eyes upon mighty Thor and thou shall understand what it means to wield Mjolnir with the might of thunder!
"What's different about this Thor?"-Well, I noticed a little lack when it came to minions not spawning frequently so I decided to rip Assess the Situation out of Antman's repertoire and try remedy this 4 Hand size penalty for being epic. We've all been in situations where you need a minion to spawn to just go ham, but you don't get it. Well, now we can try dig further and unleash the might of the Odinforce on thine enemies!
Another aspect that improves Thor significantly in Aggro is that due to more draw power, Thor can dig for his Defender of the Nine Realms easier which triggers his ability to draw 2. Mid-Late game you'll have Thor using Hammer Throw a lot for huge burst damage without such a big cost of 3 due to having better draw.
"Isn't this much draw excessive?"- Yes. Because what we want is to dig out Asgard or For Asgard! as fast as possible. With Asgard on board, this ensures that you can play with a lot more power behind Thor's swings!
The Elephant in the room. Thor's own Thwart sucks. That's undeniable. That's why with Thor's Helmet and his large health pool, we shouldn't be afraid to really push "You'll Pay for That!" to help deal with it. Down Time exists to help you out too when you need to finally recover. Spider-Man exists to try eat as much Thwart as he can.
TLDR: "You are worthy, go and smash things.deck"
