A big winner of the Wonder Man hero pack release was Angel, as a slew of new Aerial-traited cards were released to the game. Firebird, Sentry, and Everywhere All at Once (critically, an event) are all solid cards in their own right, but shine in the hands of Angel with his additional Aerial synergies.
I'll break down the deck using the method I describe here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J6XQ27iHKeU
Parameters
An Angel Justice deck brimming with Aerial-traited cards to maximize The Power of Flight, Avian Anatomy, and Cannonball built for multiplayer (in particular, the Con of Heroes 2026!)
Super-Staples
3x Basic Doubles
1x Show of Empathy
1x Skilled Investigator
This deck omits extra copies of Skilled Investigator and super-staple allies like Nick Fury who would dilute the density of Aerial cards.
Core Cards
3x The Power of Flight
1x Cannonball
1x Team-Building Exercise (could almost play 2 but I think this deck is resource-heavy already)
Synergies with Core
3x Everywhere All at Once
3x Yaw and Roll
5x additional Aerial allies
1x Soaring Hearts
1x Agile Flight
Second-Order Synergies/Staples/Just For Fun
Everywhere All at Once requires multiple schemes in play to reach full value, so it's good to bring some of our own.
1x Lay the Trap
1x Specialized Training:
1x Weapon X: extra draw is appreciated in a deck with so many resource cards to not end up with resource-heavy, action-light hands
Credentials: (coming soon!)
1-0 Expert Rhino (2p with Ghost-Spider Protection)
1-0 Expert Project Wideawake (2p with Ghost-Spider Protection)
1-0 Expert Taskmaster (2p with Ghost-Spider Protection)
Closing thoughts
It's nothing too fancy, but I've always enjoyed playing Angel, and the 5-ish new Aerial cards from Wonder Man put the deck above a critical mass of Aerial cards that makes it really hum. Happy flying!

May 28, 2026Great deck! I just played 2 handed with Hulking red against Capt Marvel (2nd play against) and they easily handled the scenario. I was finally able to use Show of Empathy for an Avenger minion with good stats. Lay the Trap is always great and having Agile Flight made it easy to clear in the same turn I put it in play. I'll be playing this again. |
Oof, this deck title hurts me :)
