Ant-Man has always been strong, and with the recent wave of Avengers stuff he's now become stronger than ever.

This is a highly effective Mighty Avengers deck built for true solo. It may look pretty straightforward and packed with the usual "good stuff" but I find it very engaging to play. It has several interesting synergies, resource-related shenanigans and versatile play patterns. Ant-Man can easily adapt to any situation.

  • Call for Backup into Captain Marvel is the big moneymaker here. With 15 printed Energy resources in the deck besides Carol herself, your odds of getting the full kicker are pretty good.

  • We also have a secondary Wild resource theme with Spectrum who should be able to get the maximum boost by tucking one of the seven Wilds in this deck. Best case scenario is Pym Particles since you get a nice extra benefit out of it.

  • Iron Lad synergizes really well with Carol and Monica, letting them stay on the table even longer. Mighty Avengers and Team Training make this team-up even better.

  • Evaluate Threat gets you plenty of cards, but White Tiger is probably the best choice in almost any situation.

  • Team-Building Exercise is exceptional for Scott since it discounts most of his identity-specific cards, plus it helps with all the Avengers.

  • Ready to Rumble is always fun for Ant-Man, especially when paired with Resize.

  • Since we want to preserve our allies for a few turns as opposed to activating them once and chump blocking, I included Endurance for additional survivability.

  • Rapid Response is the best with Captain Marvel but it's also cool with Hawkeye, Falcon or Wasp.

If this deck looks cool to you, give it a shot. It is quickly becoming my favorite way to play Avengers Leadership.

Cheers!
