This is a deck that I have been playing for an obnoxiously long time and it has gone through quite a few iterations but I finally have it in a place where I like it.
You're probably looking at this decklist going Muster Courage, Second Wind and The Power of Protection? What is this nonsense?!
The idea is to protect everyone at the table as often as possible. Scarlet Witch is uniquely able to do so without basic defending due to her in kit cards Magic Shield and Hex Bolt which can hand out a status for a 3 boost icon. Combine this with Hangar Bay in her kit and she also has allies that can still help during the turn after blocking a hit for you.
There is very little setup required to get going but the most important piece is Scarlet Witch's Crest so that we can manipulate boost icons and get our triple to hand out a tough. Hangar Bay is fantastic but the deck will still operate even if you get it into play late.
Deft Focus and Quincarrier help us pay for our in kit events as well as our expensive allies.
I don't usually use the powers but they work extremely well in here as we have 11 different targets for them which helps us potentially play an event like Muster Courage as well as a Hex Bolt.
Rogue is the lone ally that isn't really here for the tough status but to help with threat removal or deal some extra damage. Have her ping ScW to become a 4 thwart or ping someone like Rockslide to attack for 5.
Swordsman is here if you run out of tough/magic shield and can take a hit for you. You can also use him with magic shield to potentially keep him around and ready!
The gameplan is super simple:
-Hand out toughs to the table
-Use magic shield for players without tough
-Use Second Wind and Night Nurse to heal any player
If you want even more healing add in Med Team and drop an ally or just run 44. ScW doesn't mind!
