Silk is a brand new addition to the WEB-WARRIOR roster. I played her enough to figure out a great deck build for her that is thematic and highlights her strength. So I wanted to share it with all of you so that your games can be Smooth as Silk too! Get ready to Swinging Silk Kick your way to victory along with the help of your WEB-WARRIOR friends!

Smooth Sailing
For Silk's kit to run smoothly, she needs to have a constant stream of cards tucking under her identity. In the mid to late game, this isn't an issue, especially with the help of Spider Reflexes. But in the early game, it can be difficult to set up your upgrades, deal with the board state, and get tucked cards. This deck solves that problem with One Way or Another and Face the Past. These cards feel tailor made to Silk! Not only do they give you massive card draw, allowing you to set up your board, they also let you tuck the side scheme or minion after you defeat it! Making it even more valuable than normal. Combine that with Skilled Investigator and Clear the Area and you're off to the races!
A Silky Smooth Finish
After speed running your early game, and controlling the board with your allies and upgrades, you'll be ready to take out the villain in a most glorious fashion! Make sure to start storing the villain's cards under Silk as you prepare for the final push. You'll need them to get max value out of your cards. There are 3 key cards to be aware of.
- Swinging Silk Kick - 9 Damage with overkill when you discard a card from the villain's encounter set.
- Spider Claws - 6 basic ATK with piercing if you can manage all four cards to be of the right kind (2-3 cards will do just fine though).
- Ghost-Spider - Searches your Swinging Silk Kick and draws you a card from Web of Life and Destiny.
With these three cards combined you'll easily play 2-3 Swinging Silk Kicks in one turn and have a strong basic attack with piercing. This is enough to take out a whole stage of the villain no problem. Especially when you factor in your other allies and readies that you have available.
I hope you enjoy playing Silk as much as I have! This deck is a blast to play. Keep your eye out for a review and guide for Silk on my channel. I've been having so much fun with her that I plan on making plenty of informative videos to share with you all.
Stay Zesty!

There have been a ton of protection decks lately. It's nice to see. Seems like the con is going to have a lot of support decks floating around which will make for some fun games. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this year. I think I'll be able to next year though! If I was to modify this deck for the con I would drop One Way or Another but keep Face the Past. Side schemes are too dangerous for One Way or Another in 4 player, and the card draw doesn't scale per player. It's a very good card, but also much better at lower player counts. In place of One Way or Another and Clear the Area, I think I would add in some bigger thwarting such as Crisis Averted and Overwatch. The web warrior engine will still be very good, and Silk will still be able to get the upgrades out and tuck cards even without One Way or Another in 4 player due to the extra time you have to build your board and set up. Looking forward to getting some games in with everyone at COH 2026! |
Just realized that Quick Quip can deal with steady (two confuse cards on up to two enemies) sweet. This is the first time in a week that a justice deck has made the front page. Was worried that no one was going to bring a Justice deck to the Con at all!
