Card Draw Deluxe – Shuri Justice for Solo Play
This Justice deck is all about maximizing card draw to keep your hand full and your options open.
The Elephant's Trunk lets you draw three cards when combined with two other Wakanda supports or allies. Moon Girl draws you three cards when paid with mental resources – just remember, you need to play her in Alter-Ego form. One Way or Another draws three cards by revealing a side scheme from the encounter deck. Shuri can easily handle it thanks to her "pseudo" 3 THW when using the Kimoyo Beads special.
Skilled Investigator rewards you with an extra card after clearing a side scheme. Clear the Area not only helps remove threat but also draws you another card if you remove the last threat from a scheme. An early Avengers Mansion is always a great boost for even more consistent card draw.
With so much card draw, you won't have any trouble building up the Dora Milaje engine and getting all of Shuri's Black Panther upgrades into play.
Justice Served plays really nicely with Shuri, allowing you to ready her and do another basic power – triggering another special from a Black Panther upgrade. Plan B works well here, letting you get rid of leftover cards at the end of your turn and still deal some extra damage.
Float Like a Butterfly is a "win-more" card, boosting your Wakandan allies in the late game. You can confuse the villain with Professor X, Sonic Rifle and the Kimoyo Beads special.
Special tech: you can fetch Sonic Rifle with Shuri’s Alter-Ego ability from your deck!
With those confuse effects, you can easily and regularly switch to Alter-Ego form. There is also a confuse-lock loop when using Aja-Adanna to shuffle Kimoyo Beads back into your deck. You can then fetch the Kimoyo Beads again with Shuri’s Alter-Ego ability.
I released a gameplay video with this deck on my German YouTube channel Cards 'n Dice – playing this deck against Expert Black Widow.
Love it!
