As a disclaimer, I keep all my heroes built at the same time so not all cards are available as they may be tied up with other heroes.

While I was originally tempted to go Aggression with Nick, there was something I've always wanted to try. I always wanted to use Team Training with Lockjaw to get 2 full activations out of him, before using either Go Down Swinging or Save the Day to get an extra 4 damage/threat, and then simply replay Lockjaw again. However, he ended up as a blocker for me more often than not, so those events never got used.

But what if Lockjaw never needed to block for you?

Nick Fury solved that problem; he could remain in Stealth mode and never get attacked, letting me use Lockjaw for full effectiveness! That's when this deck list started to come together.

I still had an ally slot left so to make sure Team Training didn't get wasted, who should I use? That's when I realized Slingshot was ideal for this purpose. But then I struggled to figure out how to replay her constantly, when there wasn't that many Energy resources in the deck. Cue Clarity of Purpose which generates a wild for me to do this. Nick's health would tick down but, once more, I didn't have to worry about being attacked. Bingo!

How do I make the most use out of Slingshot's extra hit points though? Command Team solves that problem! Why not boost her multiple activations though? R&D Facility helps make the most out of her while she's around, which is easily paid for by using Fury's Watch!

I stay in Stealth Mode the whole time and let Lockjaw and Slingshot do all the work: probably focusing on damage, but can thwart as needed. Maria Hill also helps with threat and loading up my suit; periodically I would need to flip down anyways to heal Clarity damage with Safe House #221, and I figure I could do so when Maria exhausted and took a visit to the Med Lab and get her back.

Between the watch and other double resources, it should be easy to replay Lockjaw. I chose Power in All of Us for this purpose, but if I draw it and he's still around, I could always fetch a Plasma Pistol which allows me to "attack" without breaking cover, and can help knock tough statuses off in preparation for my allies to swing unimpeded. Plus, they are very handy at helping take care of Nick's nemesis minions Orion and Leviathan Soldier after Shadows eventually comes up.

The one downside is that I'm largely eschewing the Secret Agent upgrade since I'm rarely triggering preparations; you may want to swap out the pistols for Practiced Plan if you wanted to take advantage of that more. However, I found it wasn't needed all that much, and was content keeping Intelligence Analysis for emergencies only.

UPDATE 3/22: After playing some, I decided to swap out Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Specialized Training. With how rarely I have to flip down, getting Surveillance Specialist will allow for 2 additional threat a turn plus a card draw that will definitely pay dividends. If playing with a Justice character who really wanted it, I could easily swap for one Defense Specialist to help keep players safe as one of my two post-car activations, or Combat Specialist and make those most out of breaking cover.
