I got the idea for this from seeing someone else mention the idea but then rebuilt it from scratch (apologies for not remembering where exactly)

It uses allies for their versatile and efficient attack/defence/thwart while setting up, then for card draw once you are set. You should also cycle with Strength in Numbers while setting up unless there is a crisis. This deck can comfortably beat everything solo on expert.

You will see a lot of cards - start with 6, draw 3 from Avengers Mansion& The Golden City, draw 3 from Nick Fury, play Maria Hill draw 1 use her two times with Get Ready, Make the Call to replay Maria for another 1, Strength In Numbers for 3 with your preexisting Hawkeye. 17 Cards seen. As you will usually have 6 or more cards in play on your second run this is over half your deck!

Tactical Genius and Vibranium Suit are usually the best first, and second upgrades. These allow you to stabilise. Then typically Claws for finishing things off. Sometimes the Energy Daggers are better but very often they just inflict one point on the Villain (better than the 0 from Vibranium Suit late game!).

Don't be too precious with your allies. You want to build up a squad for Strength in Numbers but they can thwart & defend themselves to death as more are always along later. Half of them have enter play effect you want to reuse. And so does Squirrel Girl.

Huh? The Triskelion - sooner or later you hit the ally cap & this lets you break it. Honorary Avenger - Fetch with Shuri, Good on Maria for an extra thwart 2. Free 1 HP for BP at worst. Soaks the upgrade loss treachery. Useless for the Avenger keyword but still worth having.

Get Ready - OK with Fury to get use out of his 2 abilities & wasted HP. Nice on Maria to immediately defeat her & replay her. In fact good to clear out any ally faster to play another one (edit: this is not necessary as despite the wording in the Reference Booklet you can discard allies to play allies in excess of 3. Which is in the LtP book. )

No Avengers Assemble!/Lead from the Front/Inspired/Morale Boost. All a bit expensive and situational. You are not set up for repeatedly using BP. A huge turn is 4 Wakanda Forever! not lots of ally actions. This also makes defending more tempting (or just face tanking attacks). Wounds = damage with Vibranium Suit

Tweaks / Cuts

lost Avengers Tower. The abilities are both too situational. Too many SHIELD allies. The Triskeliondoes the job better.

lost Vision. Not enough energy to support him & he is expensive (note I added Enhanced Reflexes & Endurance after these cuts so this may no longer be true!)

lost Make the Call (one copy). Not consistently useful enough

added Enhanced Reflexes and Endurance. Both are useful sometimes. They are upgrades for Shuri to fetch which makes her almost as good as Maria when the Black Panther upgrades are all in play.

Wonderman & Squirrel girl are a bit rubbish & would be upgraded at the first chance but their 2 cost is nice, while Falcon at 4 feels expensive, quality but you pay for it.
