This deck plays and feels like you are the de facto commander of the X-Men, leading the mutant race from extinction!

Uncanny X-Men: #1 priority for establishing your ally economy.

Utopia: brings your squad up to 4, and a free ready when you bring an ally into play.

Cerebro: fish out extra allies from your deck. If you have a psionic ally (such as Phoenix, Marvel Girl, Psylocke, Blindfold or Professor X you can cherry pick any ally from your deck!

Danger Room will beef up you allies with Danger Room Training soon as they hit the board.

Whenever you have a minion on the board, use Scott Summer's Constant Training action to tutor Priority Target and KO him for an extra 2 cards. Otherwise you can pull Exploit Weakness, Practiced Defense or Rapid Response depending on the situation.
Once you get Honorary X-Men give it to Slim so he can benefit from cards like The X-Jet, Utopia and Uncanny X-Men even in alter-ego form.
Don't be afraid of discarding allies/events or using them as resources. One of the main synergies of this deck is recursion through Phoenix, Pixie and Tactical Brilliance The idea is to sift through your deck, play your support cards and get your main engine running as soon as possible.
When you are all set up, you can Cerebro the exact ally you need and play them almost for free! With all the different mutant allies you have at your disposal, you'll have an answer to anything that comes your way.
- annoying minions? Have Magik yoink 'em out of play.
- trouble with schemes? Pull in Psylocke or Marvel Girl
- heavy attacks incoming? Go hard defense with Colossus and Nightcrawler
- need more resources? Beast is your best friend.
- villain got nasty gear? burn it down with Sunfire
...and finally, when you are ready to bring the boss down, slap on your Ruby Quartz Visor and go to town with the devastating power of your Full Blast!
