Another X-Men ally who is an absolute house. To borrow a term from MTG, Magik passes the "vanilla test" for allies, meaning if you stripped away all abilities, you are still satisfied with the value. In Magik's case, that's 4 damage and a block for 4 resources - acceptable. Now add to that an ability to delete an entire minion with a single resource and you get an ally with insane value in the right situation that is still a playable card when there is no minion to hit. She will be better against certain scenarios, of course, and any of the Sentinel scenarios like Project Wideawake and Master Mold are great matchups. (Sentinels V, VI, and VIII make for juicy targets). Zola is another good matchup with lots of big, tough, and potentially Tech-upgraded minions. Magik is an easy inclusion in any aggression X-Men deck and might only be sidelined in a minion-light scenario where you don't necessarily need allies with the X-Men trait.
