This deck aims to get Quicksilver running fast using the power of Player Side Schemes and then freeze the villain with a million different ways to stun.

Core Cards

Quicksilver loves his upgrades. It's part of what makes him powerful. Get his upgrades out and have a thinned out deck where he can keep running and running and running. So the goal is to get there quickly. Since most of Quicksilver's cards are Superpower, Deft Focus will help pay for those cards.

Flip to Alter Ego in turn 2 or 3 to get a six card hand and use Superpower Siblings to get the right hand. You can usually thwart and run any threat added from scheming.

The most powerful card to try to get out is Superpower Training. It can help you get these cards (in order of importance):

Can't Hit What You Can't See

Stun the villain. Stun them a lot. Use Mockingbird, Critical Hit, Drop Kick, and Speed Cyclone. Which means even steady on expert 2 can be almost reliably stun locked.

If you're playing a Stalwart villain, Critical Hit becomes a great way to pause a minion that you hit with the second One by One damage. Use allies to help defend against Stalwarts.

Run Fast

Once you're set up, it's Quicksilver. You know the drill. ALWAYS. BE. RUNNING. especially with your 3 ATK.

Multiplayer

If you're playing multiplayer, switch out Quincarrier for Helicarrier since none of his cards are played during the villain phase. Quincarrier is nice in solo because it can help remove most attachments; whereas in multiplayer, it's okay if you can't immediately get rid of an attachment. Someone else at the table might be able to instead.

This deck has a decently quick set up because of the player side schemes and low cost of Deft Focus.

aggression will pretty much always be my favourite QS build

@dr00 agreed. I used to use him in Justice in my multiplayer games, but then I went aggression and I’ll never go back. (Well, unless the table really needs a Justice player)

Thanks for looking at the deck!

How do you feel about Lock and Load to add consistency to how quickly you can get player side schemes into the victory display to get Critical Hit online and to get Mean Swing online sooner as well?

@josseroo I love the idea. I’d gladly trade out Crew Quarter or 1 One By One for it. Thanks for the suggestion!

Interesting deck. How are you expecting Hulk to work with it? Is he going to be a blocker for you? There's not a lot of melee for him to work with in your deck and a reasonable amount of mental and lightning.

@MisterAnderson71 that’s exactly it. Hulk is a great blocker against extra attacks or minion attacks, especially during the build phase. But yeah, I would only activate Hulk if you are getting extremely swarmed and are okay with the consequences.

This deck is a lot of fun. Quicksilver is one of those heroes that kind of fell out of my radar, but this deck is a perfect example of how strong he is. Thanks for sharing!

@andyr I've been meaning to play this one for a bit now and finally got it on the table. Tons of fun, ran right through ( see what I did there? Lol) Mansion Attack in my first playthrough. Thanks again for another great deck!

Is Specialized Training an option for the potential of putting Combat Specialist on Quicksilver?

Apr 23, 2024 andyr · 4349

Absolutely! It’s a great add, especially if you get a double time so you can thwart it in one round. It may take both activations, but that +1 ATK and card draw is sweet.
