If there are two things about Spider-Man that I love, it’s his natural defense abilities and his economy. So this deck utilizes those two aspects to create space for allies to web swing in and kick the villain in the face!

The concept is simple: defend with Spidey, get him Warrior of the Great Web, then let your allies do all the work.

Get everyone’s attack up, and you can do big thwarts with The Direct Approach. Some times the main scheme can look scary, but Keep Them Busy leans right into this strategy.

As the gameplay gets going, you’ll start to use Spidey’s Backflip and Webbed Up so you won’t need to exhaust. Then, Smash the Problem will be nice threat mitigation.

Meanwhile, an Enraged Spider-Ham who went to Boot Camp is going to do 5 damage. It’s even better if you attach a Warrior of the Great Web to him.

Enraged serves two functions: do more damage and get an ally out quicker so you can get more allies in (and a card draw and +1 ATK for it). Plus, most Web-Warriors have great when played and when defeated effects, so you’ll want to cycle them often.

Build Support can target either Boot Camp or Web of Life and Destiny depending on whether you have Warrior of the Great Web attached or not. Superpower Training helps you summon Webbed Up or Spider-Tracer depending on the needs of the table.

This deck is meant for solo but can probably hold its own in multiplayer. You might want to sub out some thwart cards for damage spread cards.

Otherwise, get those spideys to boot camp and have villains crumble.

What are some cards you would suggest instead of The Direct Approach and Keep Them Busy? I do not own the X-23 pack.

If you’re doing solo, put in Into the Fray and Chase Them Down. If it’s multiplayer, bring First Aid and One by One. This helps with threat in solo and damage spread in multiplayer!

OG Spider-Man is a blast. It's so sad that he didn't ship with the web warrior trait. Once I get Spider-Ham I can try this deck out!

How can you get those web warriors card out without being one?

@Alphabeta two ways: Pay for Web of Life and Destiny or equip Warrior of the Great Web. The web-warriors are trait locked differently from other tribes. They just require that you control a Web-Warrior card, not that you have to have the Web-Warrior trait so either card suffices. The cheapest way is to do Warrior of the Great Web first so Web of Life and Destiny is free, but sometimes, the cards don’t work out like that.

my only regret is i can't play this with Spider-Man. Boot Camp is such an awesome buff to a team that's constantly leaving play

@dr00 oh man, in agreement, that would be fun to break the rules just once to see how much more powerful it’d be to have Peter ready Peter!
