Domino and The Posse are here to thwart schemes and kick ass.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Due to a mistake, there's no Sharpshooter on the card list here. Obviously it belongs in any self-respecting Dom deck. Either pick one up as a 41st card or swap out Superpower Training (Your Cable player wants it anyway) for it.

As is custom with CrustyMustelid decks, this one is geared towards multiplayer games.

More Luck For Me, or, Probability Manipulation for Dummies.

Domino's ability allows her to swap cards from her hand with the top ones of her deck (or discard if in AE). Use this to your advantage right out of the gate. Mulligan agressively for any of the following:

  1. Domino's Pistol
  2. Probability Field
  3. The Painted Lady
  4. Weapon X
  5. Jackpot!

Once you're set up it's time to get to work. Use Dom's Pistols, combining them with Sharpshooter to discard cards for damage. Cards like Digging Deep and White Fox love to get discarded, and if you do discard something you didn't want to, your house/riverboat/base of operations and faithful canine companion are standing by to get them back. Bottom line, don't be afraid to discard. You can't lose when you're this lucky!

The Posse feat. Wolfsbane, or, Domino's Daredolls.

Anyone who knows me, knows I've always hated the idea of playing with lots of Allies. Lately, however, I've been getting sweeter and sweeter on the idea. Dom and her gaggle of girlfriends just might be what sells me on Allies definitively. Without further ado, let's meet the girls.

Diamondback has the potential to do up to 3-4 damage to everything on the table. This is especially huge in multiplayer games against minion-heavy scenarios like many of the NeXt Evolution ones.

Outlaw has your back, coming in Tough and taking a hit for you. Afterwards she discards from the top of your deck to potentially hit like a jukebox full of outlaw country. Slap that Sidearm on her and watch her go.

Atlas Bear looks to add Events from the top of your deck into your hand. Excellent for those times where you just know that the Making an Entrance you need is down there.

White Fox might not be the most impressive Ally statwise, but goshdarnit she's FREE! There's no excuse to not just swap her into the deck and discard her for a Pistol damage to get her on the table.

Last, but certainly not least, Wolfsbane will get a swapped card (or an Atlas Bear whiff) into your hand after each thwart.

The Posse is great to keep a good group going for an extra round of activations.

Don't Forget to Thwart, or, I Swear This Is a Justice Deck.

It's a testament to how versatile Dom's own kit is, that I only feel the need to include 12 Justice cards, of which only 6 are Events, in this deck.

It's simple. Slap Overwatch on everything, so that you're always thwarting multiple schemes.

Multitasking allows you to help with Side-Schemes while keeping the Main Scheme in check. At 3-4 players it could be worthwhile swapping this out for Even the Odds.

Dom loves using her basic THW. Boosting it first with Probability Field, and then further with Making an Entrance is a surefire way to amp up a single thwart up to 5-6, which you can then take off an Overwatched scheme. Who said luck isn't a cinematic superpower?

The Economy of Luck, or Why I Insist on Having Both Deft Focus and X-Gene In This Deck.

Many have pointed out, and correctly so, that having both Deft Focus and X-Gene in Dom's deck is somewhat redundant, as she's absolutely swimming in resources. Both hit different targets, but I like to have them for a "free" Right Place, Right Time or A Good Workout every once in a while. Feel free to swap one out if you feel there's something you'd prefer to include.

That just about wraps it up. I hope you like my humble contribution to the NeXt Evolution hype train. If you did, keep an eye out for some multiplayer companions I've been tinkering with to keep Dom covered while she focuses on thwarting!

Making an Entrance is a great way to make up for taking undefended hits attacks and for whatever damage you've sustained from Weapon X. Just gotta fight with Cable for who clears the threat lol

Cable: There's always the main

Domino: the main has 20 threat on it!!!

@Man-is-Obsolete This is indeed the biggest issue with pairing up a J-Dom with Cable. In our first little playtest against the Marauders, I found myself having to thwart around the L-Cable's very real need to be the one to clear side-schemes.

Once Deadpool drops with his penchant for accelerating the Main Scheme, however, I could even see a 4 player game with both Domino and Psylocke on Justice and Cable on Leadership.

Love this! I used making an entrance more than I thought I would. Thanks for posting this!

@chrisrivers13 obviously, yes. I derped hard and left it out. My write-up has a note about it at the beginning. You should definitely make room for Sharpshooter in any and all Domino decks.

@andyr thanks for the comment! Depending on your player count, try leaving Atlas Bear, X-Gene and Superpower Training out for Even the Odds for even more thwartability!
