This deck is designed to be played solely in Multiplayer, but some changes can be made to adapt it to a single player style.

I created this deck with the sole intention of an Alter-Ego (AE) only playstyle. I had never made a Captain Marvel deck, and wanted to try something a bit different.

THE DECK

The main hero cards I wanted to build my deck around where Energy Absorption and Alpha Flight Station. Both of these are the main staples of an AE Carol deck in my opinion.

I didn't want to waste any of the resources given by Energy Absorption so I was sure to include a plethora of cards that had at least 4 Cost. These being Beat Cop, Banshee, Nick Fury, Spider-Man, Monica Chang, Avengers Mansion, Agent 13 and Professor X, for a total of 10 additional cards that can make use of Energy Absorption. Spider-Woman and Energy Channel can both use it as well while still staying in AE.

Alpha Flight Station on its own is a powerful tool. Combine it with Carol Danvers Commander Ability, Avengers Mansion and Nick Fury for some huge draw power. However it really shines when used with Agent 13. Alpha Flight Station being S.H.E.I.L.D. allows it to be ready by Agent 13's RESPONSE. This combo really gets the cards coming in for some truly impactful turns.

The rest of the cards are built to either support the engine or remove Threat.

-Banshee, Mission Training and X-Mansion combine to give 3 THW and confuse a Minion each round.

-Homeland Intervention is the main Threat Removal of the deck. Using any combination of Monica Chang, Carol Danvers, Surveillance Team, and Field Agent, you can reliably remove the max amount of threat possible with Homeland. Vigilante Training is in the deck to recycle Homeland Intervention.

-First Aid is in the deck to keep Agent 13 alive.

MULLIGANS

Alpha Flight Station has the highest priority out of any card in the deck as it is the cornerstone of the deck filtering process. Agent 13 follows behind because she provides little without Alpha Flight Station in play, besides being a target for Homeland. Banshee then his upgrades and Monica Chang would be the next best cards as they provide the most consistent Threat Removal in AE without requiring too much set-up.

OVERVIEW

The main goal of the deck is to draw enough cards to reliably THW the schemes in a Multiplayer game without flipping to the Hero side of the card by using S.H.E.I.L.D. cards and healthy allies. This being said, it is still possible to end up with a full hand of Photonic Blasts and Crisis Interdictions. So flipping to Hero may become inevitable at some point. Use these turns to pump out some big damage numbers and close out a game if need be.

Thanks for checking out my deck and feel free to leave a comment or suggestion down below and I will respond as quickly as I can.

This looks like a lot of fun! Lots of great synergies here. I'm not sure what I would cut, but have you considered the Quake ally? She's S.H.I.E.L.D. and also has a killer response for when minions scheme. May not synergize well with banshee confusing minions but gives you an options in minion-heavy scenarios.

I especially love how you can charge Energy Channel while AE and then flip up at the end to hit the villain hard when it's time.

What kinds of scenarios have you tested this deck against in multiplayer?

@DMTip I had considered Quake before, but with Banshee and Angent 13 being nearly permanent allies my ally slots are fairly limited. She might be a good substitute for Spider-Man in a solo game or a game with more minions or less side schemes.

So far I've taken down a modified Expert: Sinister Six, Sabertooth, Klaw and The Hood.

I hadn't found a way I liked playing Captain Marvel until I tried this deck. Some real nice synergy with SHIELD here. Been modifying with the updated card pool and will have more to share soon!
