This deck makes the most of Cyclops' Hero and Alter-Ego abilities, whilst also taking full advantage of Cyclops leading X-men Allies.

Initally I had Cerebro, Danger Room and Team-Building Exercise. However, once the resource generator of The X-Jet and Hall of Heroes is set up along with drawing Tactic cards, with the occasional Priority Target the other cards feel like they aren't worth the opportunity cost. Missing with Cerebro, having all Attack Training in play and limited X-Men cards to play in later rounds. This more refinded resource generator is better balanced for continual board control and building.

Ideal starts will see an early The X-Jet followed by Hall of Heroes. As Cyclops wants to cycle between forms to gain full advantage of his hero and Alter-ego abilities. X-Mansion and Hall of Heroes are ideally placed for Cyclops to take advantage of them as much as possible. Therefore, Looking for Trouble is used to produce minion fodder for Hall of Heroes as well as control the main scheme. Remembering that Hall of Heroes text is when 'you' defeat a minion. Therefore, your main methods for defeating minions will be Optic Blast, Full Blast, Rocket Beam or by adding allies ATK value to Cyclops' ATK through Team Strike.

The standard 6 TACTIC cards in Cyclops core 15 are good, However 6 in 40 cards is too low and therefore Marked has been added to raise that number to a more reasonable 8. A ratio of 1 in 5 feels like the right balance to sustain value from Cyclops' alter-ego ability. Whether to draw a TACTIC card as a additional resource or in the eventuality that Marked or Priority Target has a stratgic advantage for the phase.

Professor X is an ok substitute for Nick Fury, given he is more of a blunt stop to SCH, than creating opportunities with hand draw. Cyclops' rotational attacking force of Angel, Beast, Phoenix and Polaris are enhanced in their attack through Boot Camp and Attack Training. In all honesty, Wolverine is the real star. With a powerful 7 ATK through the addition of Enraged to the above cards. Wolverine berzerkers his way through his enemies, The trick is ensure you take full advantage of Team Strike when Wolverine's health is low so as to avoid too much consequential damage. Ensuring his healing factor alongside X-Mansion are enough to keep Wolverine in play. With this said it is worth overlooking Wolverine on the first pass through your deck in favour of building the decks resource generator as a priority, followed by X-Mansion prior to Wolverine and Utopia to allow for a greater number of allies to enter play.

I hope you enjoy and I look forward to seeing more X-Men cards bolstering Cyclops in the future. This is a good, fun deck. However, there are better in Avenger/Web-Warrior blocks.
