This build focuses on Sneak Attack to get high cost allies in for really cheap and Command Teams to ready them so they can strike heavy and fast before being discarded.

All allies have activatable or when played effects that combo with readying an ally or giving us more flexibility in playing our turn. After Mighty Avengers and Team Training is in play, this is each ally's stat line:

Giant-Man

He can swing for 15 Damage in one turn!!

THW - 3

ATK - 5

HP - 5

Black Panther

After Black Panther Enters play you can grab Save the Day, Call for Aid, or even the Sneak Attack used to play him to get another use out of it!

THW - 3

ATK - 3

HP - 5

Goliath

Goliath can swing for 18 damage in one turn with 2 command teams!

THW - 3

ATK - 6

HP - 5

White Tiger

White Tiger is here for great card draw (Draw 3 if you're in the 3rd stage of a villain). She's great for thwarting since you won't be wasting any excess ATK stats on her (similar situation with Blue marvel below).

THW - 3

ATK - 3

HP - 3

Power Man

Unfortunately due to his low HP, Power Man can only attack twice in one turn but for 5 damage each time is nothing to laugh at.

THW - 2

ATK - 5

HP - 4

Blue Marvel

Spectrum's signature ally is great for form changes and works with the synergy of Call for Aid and Sneak Attack. No complaints here!

THW - 3

ATK - 3

HP - 4

Spectrum is a good pilot for this deck because she has 2 resource generators in her kit (Energy Duplication), and she can heal naturally with her form changes into Pulsar, as well as having 3 DEF while in Pulsar form. Deft Focus is a must-include in any list of hers as all of her events are superpowers. She is the MIGHTY AVENGER we need (to meet trait requirements on certain cards). I hope you like this decklist and making big sneak attacks with it!!!

Do you think this deck would work with Captain America?

Nov 27, 2021 TrashPanda · 1235

@Makabushi This deck would work similarly well with Captain America because he has 2 resource generators in his kit and a decent defense stat, as well. The first drawback that comes to mind is that good alter ego ability does not apply to paying for Sneak Attack or adding printed resource value for Save the Day, and that his signature Ally is not an Avenger. All small things that won't matter that much because Cap has been consider a great Leadership Aspect hero since release. Have fun playing it with his kit!!

@TrashPanda Those are some good points! Captain America is my favorite hero to play because of his strong kit. Thanks for making the deck.

These look like some really fun combos, thanks for sharing this deck!

One observation: I don't think White Tiger's response triggers if she enters play via Sneak Attack. Her response says "After you play White Tiger from your hand ...", but Sneak Attack says "-> put that ally into play." According to the RRG (1.4.2), "A card that is put into play is not considered to have been played." (p. 23). So if you put White Tiger into play using Sneak Attack, you aren't actually playing the card from your hand (unlike, say Team-Building Exercise), so the Response (draw cards) would not trigger.

Not saying White Tiger isn't a great card, but if you want the card draw, I don't think Sneak Attack would give it to you. ;)

Falcon or Vision (if you have the to spend) would also fit with the theme here. Kaluu, too, but he's already pretty cheap: at least he can help you pull out another copy of Sneak Attack or Call for Aid. ;)
