I've played a lot of Thor - like probably 70+ games at this point. I'm absolutely loving Thor Aggression these days, especially in multiplayer.

Here are the key cards IMO, all of which have come on recent packs:

Basic Economy Cards

For Thor to hit his peak, he needs enough economy to play Hammer Throw, slap Mjolnir back down, and play Moment of Triumph all on the same turn. The basic econ cards help with that. The econ priority is: God of Thunder, then Deft Focus, then Team-Building Exercise. After that, Martial Prowess can be played, and finally if you have time at some point, Asgard.

Team-Building Exercise - not 100% essential but great to have out. In multiplayer, it lets you hold your Hammer Throw to use on another player's turn (lets say, after they use an ally to ping off a tough), play HT, and then throw Mjolnir back down "for free" and out of turn (because it's an Action).

Deft Focus - love getting this out for cheap Hammer Throw and Lightning Strike. Not a priority over God of Thunder but as a 1-cost, very playable as a 1B priority.

Aggro minion package: Angela - the best minion hunter card, hands down. Worst thing if it fizzles is you've lost a card, unlike Defender of the Nine Realms where you've lost a card and put an accel token on the main scheme. Absolute must for Aggro Thor

"Bring It!" - so fun with Thor if you're pulling minions out often

Looking for Trouble or Get Over Here! are worth considering, and I'd lean LFT at lower player counts at GOH at higher.

Aggro excess damage package: This is where new cards have opened a whole new build for Thor:

Follow Through - in multiplayer, I include 3 per deck and once they're out, Thor is absolutely unstoppable, especially combined with..

Moment of Triumph - possibly my favourite card in Thor, keeps him in hero form and healthy all game consistently, especially with FT

Hand Cannon - more opps for excess damage to trigger FT/MOT, just remember you can only have one out at a time. Godslayer is a good option here in a scenario with lots of unique minions but I prefer the cheaper Hand Cannon.

I also like Into the Fray as a lightning resource that leans into Thor's "pull a minion and overkill them" style. I'd run it if you're running Martial Prowess (which helps pay for ITF as well as Hammer Throw)

Honestly, Thor Aggro is super fun, highly recommend to anyone looking to re-explore him. He has a unique hero set for making the excess damage build much more consistent (always grabbing minions and has the stats/events to consistently overkill them).

Try it out!
