From Boring to Extremely Fun and Strong ! - Small collection

Small Collection deck

Needed : Fear no Evil extension, Luke Cage pack, Deadpook pack for 38 cards Optional : Jessica Jones, Gambit for 2 cards, easily replacable.

Beat Expert solo, base vilains, Red Skull, Age of Apocalypse, Shadowland without any defeat.

Luke Cage was my biggest disappointment of the DEFENDERS cycle. He's immortal... and that's it. Flat gameplay, some cards felt wonky like Fogwell's Gym or Cruisin' for a Bruisin' , only three attack card and two them are expensive... really ?! .

Yes, it WAS now he's my favorite by far ! =D Everything changed after a nighttime illumination, thinking about the POOL' aspect.

Basically, Tough cards are becoming a side economy to mitigate... even cancel every counterparts and get only the "Reward" part of the "High Risk, High Reward" POOL' cards !

This is not a guide, but a list of great interactions and combos you can create with this deck. There is no unique strategy but everything works, and that's part of the fun.

In heroform, with Lady Deadpool and Headpool villain can attack you for 17 damage, you will just remove 1 Tough. So they are both immortal

Negasonic Teenage Warhead The worst outcome of the encounter deck is when the villain re-activate. But with many Tough, you dontt mind. And if he try to thwart, cancel it with Negasonic ;) Aim for cancelling Advance , Shadow of the Past (painful) or Crisis of Infinite Deadpools

-> "Which is why he can handle two swords"

With many icon on the area, it's easy to get 5-6ATQ with Laser Swords good news that Luke Cage come empty handed with 0 Restricted cards. And its easy to ready Luke Harlem's Hero , Fogwell's Gym

-> "and go to War !"

War help you ready whenever you want with Fogwell's Gym And if you don't want, you still can reduce the damage using Metal Bracer and deal free damage if you are lucky.

-> "Without getting any hits"

It is worth keeping one turn Not my Responsibility on your hand to get a free alter-ego turn and recharge your Tough cards, its even mandatory. Otherwise, Professor X and Get in Front of Me! can save you too.

Remember that Pool ally gets 0 consecutive Damage, so it bring Harlem's Hero to an whole new level. With 3 ally on table you can get ~15 dmg/thw with only ONE card. Even more with Get Rage-y +1ATQ is kept the whole phase. Hellcat Is free, ready her as much as you can. She-Hulk is there for stat (2*3 ATQ/THW) and giving you one more Tough. Don't defend with her, use her right now.

Cards are expensive, but you have enough money with the 3 POOL Ressources cards. And you will lose a lot a of damage with this deck, so Healing Factor will help you. Not that mendatory, Luke having a good REC, and being with 9/10PV is ok if you have 2-3 Tough. it's still double ressources.

• Deadpool Corps Ship help you playing your ally (be sure you are safe on Scheme and Tough card before using in it for Negasonic Teenage Warhead )

• Contingency Planning is only there for your Cruisin' for a Bruisin' both has 0-cost and thin your deck.

• You can replace Professor X and Hellcat for others ally like Mockingbird, Nick Fury, Bob, Agent of Hydra or something else on your collection.

• Why three Resourceful ????????????

This deck lack of Ressource, to remove Attachement but you can trade it for Assess the Situation . As i've said earlier, the deck is meant to be playable for small collection. But it can be easily upgraded at your convenience.
