Skilled Tactician - You may include up to 6 Attack and/or Thwart events in your deck from aspects other than your chosen aspect.
- Filling the deck up with Aggression cause No Quarter to be our best card draw
- Lots of benefits from killing minions, and the aggression Thwart event Chase Them Down trigger her Precision ability
- Tons of attack events to make her AE action hit more often. Also, makes the Sword a reliable investment... don't pass it up! You'll play 2-3 attack event per turn after the first deck pass. It will pay off.
- Keen Instincts can reliably hit the Mental resource requirement of Honed Technique.
- Moment of Triumph to heal from overkill damage, and Precision Strike can KO minions more reliably when it's 3 damage (augmented by Honed Technique)
- When there are minions, Relentless Assault and Into the Fray can flex overkill into damage or thwart, plus a Hall of Heroes counter and ping damage from the sword (plus a Moment of Triumph or Chase Them Down if you have it)
- When there are no minions, Honed Technique still makes these aggression events useful... No Quarter is still 6 damage on the Villain + 1 from the Sword and +1 thwart from Finesse
- this deck is intended for multiplayer, so the Thwarting Gamora does here is usually ping thwarting, basic thwarting, and the occasional Forward Momentum. But if you WERE going to play this solo, I'd drop some singles of the Aggression events for double Multitasking, double Clear the Area, and double For Justice!, just to keep thwarting reliable (though this will have countersynergy with No Quarter)
- only Angela summons minions, and I'd be open to the idea of more minion-summoning, but in a 4 player game, there's usually a minion to kill without the need for that. And there are 50 cards already, so adding more minion-summoning cards would have to cut existing cards (like, ones that can be used to focus on the Villain) and that might make the deck more "Wheel-spinning" rather than momentum.
"Rip and Tear until it is done"
Always like a No Quarter deck. Been messing around with it using different heroes, even if they have multi-aspect deckbuilding hooks (e.g, Wonder Man)
