I'm kicking of my Con of Heroes 2026 deck series with one of my favorites to play with. Natasha really sings in Aggression with some of the newer cards that have been released, and this might be my favorite way to play her now.
This is a deck meant to use the villains attacks against them with Toe to Toe and Attacrobatics, and engage minions to trigger preparations to advance the game state, like Lie in Wait and Aggressive Stance. Add in Firepower and you have a deck that feels really interesting and strong at all player counts!
| Player Type: | Spike |
| Player Count: | 1 - 4p |
| Key Cards: | Lie in Wait, Toe to Toe |
| Complexity: | ★★★★☆ |
| Damage: | ★★★★☆ |
| Threat Control: | ★★☆☆☆ |
| Survivability: | ★★★☆☆ |
| Economy: | ★★★★☆ |
| Card Drawing: | ★★★☆☆ |
This deck leans into being aggressive and spreading damage out to her enemies consistently.
First, the preparations:
- Lie in Wait is very underrated, allowing Black Widow to deal 3 damage when a minion comes into play, plus an additional damage from her Widowmaker hero ability.
- Aggressive Stance allows you to get an attack event from your deck when you engage a minion, which we can do plenty thanks to Angela and Spoiling for a Fight.
Next, the events:
- Toe to Toe combos really well with Black Widow's innate defense, and Synth-Suit and Attacrobatics.
- Firepower is just good value and has a number of targets with Jarnbjorn an two copies of S.H.I.E.L.D. Sidearm.
- Spoiling for a Fight pulls minions into your traps, and gives you a ready to use your basic activations.
We also brought friends:
- Angela brings out minions to kill.
- Hulk gives us some health to defend if needed.
- Deathlok is a great target for Firepower.
- Yellow Jacket digs for upgrades (many of them preparations).
When you flip down, Safe House #29 gets you preparations back to hand.
Target Spotter is also really important since Lie in Wait and Aggressive Stance only work when you engage a minion; pulling them to you is valuable. It also helps to neuter Quickstrike on minions for Widow's Bite.

Mar 30, 2026What do you think about throwing Bambino into this deck? |
Mar 30, 2026"Hey there big guy, sun's getting real low." Wink and a nod, I really enjoy the inclusion of the Hulk ally. |

Mar 31, 2026Have you tried Caught in the Crossfire with her? Been wanting to make use of that card and thought of Natasha cause one Dance of Dead is 3 damage on a caught minion. |
Mar 31, 2026Firepower is such a good card! No room for Practiced Plan? Also Agent 13 is really nice in Black Widow, since she can ready the Safe House #29 to bring back two preparations, when you are in alter-ego. :) |

Mar 31, 2026Yeah, I totally know what you mean. :) |
Apr 01, 2026It pains me to see target spotter and Angela and spoiling for a fight without "Bring It!", but I think that might be game greed talking. |
Apr 01, 2026Played this today and had a blast. Black Widow is already a top five hero for me and this deck lets her pump out some serious damage. |

Apr 03, 2026I love Toe to Toe for the villain here. I've only ever used it for minions but Black Widow absolutely negates villain attacks. Great call! |
Apr 05, 2026Awesome deck as always! Seeing all the CoH decks is a little intimidating. Going to my first CoH this year, and I'm not that good at deckbuilding lol. My decks are usually kinda boring! |

We're all here to have fun! As long as you're having fun, your deck is working as intended. |

I haven't really played Black Widow much in Aggression, looks fun!
